Compact and light
The expected Nikon solid build quality and finish, waterproof with lens coatings, small and light a joy to use. The focus wheel is smooth and light, image quality bright and accurate & CA minimal. The lens caps on front are attached so no losses. I chose the 10X over the 8X to more match camera my lens. Overall happy with my purchase.

Left it too long!
Had a pair of Aspen 10 x 42 for many many years, and was getting less and less satisfied with them. Kept putting off upgrading and now wish I had years ago!Read so many reviews and videos. There are too many to choose from when it comes to binos. I did not want to spend a fortune, as it is only a relaxing past time - watching birds, nature etc.So decided on £300 was about right for me.Firstly I was majorly impressed with the close 2m range focusing. My Aspens were about 10+. I am finding myself not only enjoying birds and larger animals, but also butterflies and other insects, which you can watch for a long time. The focus knob is smooth, and light. My Aspens were getting stiff... Also, my old pair did not have the click-click eyecup as these Nikons do, and I was forever having to adjust them.So very happy with my Nikon M5s, such a clear bright picture around the whole of the optic. Lovely to hold and an absolute pleasure to use.I should have upgraded years ago!

They’re Nikon. No need to elaborate!
Wonderful. Like seeing the world on an 8K OLED TV… in 3D They’re Nikon so they’re made by a long time lens manufacturer. I’ve had lesser pairs with bigger objective lenses but they didn’t have the light throughput these have. Crystal clear imagery. At first glance they are rather expensive but if you’ve ever been to Specsavers expecting two pairs of glasses for £30 and come out having parted with £500, you’ll appreciate how much more product you get for your money buying these. There are some far more expensive ones from Nikon and various other makers but I can’t imagine how much better it could get. Buy these, you won’t be disappointed. If you are, maybe it’s back to Specsavers for you.
