After I played with this for a week for my enjoyment my wife made me wrap it and give to the kid it was for, I do miss that thing

Got this on a whim for my kids (ages 3 & 11) for Christmas and it was well worth it. My oldest will play with the littlest if she wants him to (I doubt this is something an older child will play with more than once or twice for a min or two).But my littlest thinks this thing is HILARIOUS. We play together with it often, because she begs to. She only likes the "Hot Banana" game, so I like that you don't have to cycle through the games to find a specific one. We just know to press his left hand and we are ready to go.Some other great features:It auto-shuts down after a min or less of no activity.It has a Volume Control!!The battery pack is under some seriously strong velcro and a thick padded flap. No kid is getting this thing open. This also means that the battery pack is almost centered in its round body, so 1) the monkey is pretty stable. Its not weighted on one side & so its not going to get some rolling momentum mid-air, go off course and crash into breakables. 2) the monkey isn't going to hit your child in the head and knock him out cold.The 'fur' is super soft. He is well stuffed. Not hard at all. He's nice and squishy and easy to hug.Did I already mention Volume Control? It has an 'off' switch and 2 Volume Settings!If you have a young child that is learning hand-eye coordination, this toy is perfect.I deduct a star because I wish it had just 1 more game on it. Like I said, my daughter doesn't like 1 of the games so we only play "Hot Banana".* I promise I paid full price for this toy; I wasn't coerced into buying it or writing this positive review. I just really think its an awesome active toy.

I purchased this to have something that everyone can play during our Thanksgiving family gathering. I have three grandsons ages 5, 3 and 1. The two oldest had a ball playing it with me while we waited for other family to arrive. Of course when the other kids came, the playing with Kiki stopped. But to my surprise my 12 year old niece began to play with it! So this is obviously awesome for all ages! I got it so that everyone can play with it and it is. You can't go wrong with this purchase!

This is rather cute, and it's an excellent idea. My mom and I played with this for a while today before my 7 and 5 year old got home from school. This is a Christmas gift so we were curious if we thought they'd like it. I think they will, and if they love it I'll give it the five stars they indicate.Pros, it's a nice design, nice materials, well made. I really like that the control box is behind two very well bonded strips of Velcro. I didn't want to pull too hard but I think the electronics can come out completely if it gets as filthy as I'm pretty sure my kids are going to get it. That is a big deal to me, it annoys me when things are designed to be trashed instead of cleaned.The phrases are nice. They're appropriate for whatever is going on. We were surprised that it knew when it was dropped and when it was caught as different events. The responses are also short, so you can hear a response by the time you're ready to throw it back.The only con is that this is L.O.U.D. There are two volumes on the control box and of course it was shipped on extra loud. The other setting won't make your ears bleed but it's still loud. This was partly due to playing with it indoors with a 73 year old grandma whose only sense to be lost is that of smell. She's always been sensitive to louder sounds. I'm just accustomed to the quiet time while the kiddos are at school.If this was suggested because you are looking at what a hatchimal would cost from a disgustingly greedy seller, I do recommend this as a neat gift. Sure, if your little one was dead set on the hatchimal this isn't a replacement, but if you have kids like mine that had a passing interest I'd say go for it. And then join me in waiting until December 26th for this ridiculousness to be over and a few extra greedy scrooges eating the cost of their efforts.

What was I thinking when I bought this? It is made to be thrown, yet it is heavy and could cause serious injury to a child or an adult. Get hit in the head with this and you'll know. I don't understand why this is even being sold. You might as well hand your kids some rocks and encourage them to throw them at each other! It doesn't matter whether the child is 1 or 80 years old, it is dangerous in anyone's hands. I threw it out.

The first one we received started malfunctioning the 2nd day we had it, so I contacted Amazon and received a replacement. This second one is malfunctioning in the same exact manner. Not sure if there is a bad batch or what. Coco is supposed to have 2 games, 1 game for each ear. On both toys, the game that goes along with a song & Coco's commands,stop working out of the blue & that ear no longer does anything. The toy is actually a lot of fun & the concept is awesome but to have a toy that no longer works in such a tiny bit of time is absolutely ridiculous! It doesn't even work long enough for the "brand new" to wear off (and that can be really fast for some kids). So disappointed.......

My son loves it.Chirpie is great fun. But not exactly as expected. My 5 year old really loves playing egg toss but not catching. he just drops him farther and farther. Startup Chirpie, talk to him a bit, then out the window!Chirpie seems to take this like a champ. The dog brings him back in and they start the process over again. Is this normal?

My kids, myself, my husband, and any other living creature that can hear were totally annoyed by these. Bought one for each of my kids. Nothing to them really. Wasted money, dont waste yours.

Bought for disabled son who can use one hand, he loves the noises but isn’t able to play the games. Good fun toys
