Wireless PS4 Controller, Game Controller for Playstation 4 with Dual Vibration and Charging Cable (Purple Galaxy)

*UPDATE*I originally gave this a bad review, but I've updated this to five stars as of now.Let me explain... I originally used SCPToolkit because I used to use a PS3 controller. I'd initially tried using it to install PS4 drivers for the new controller before trying DS4Windows when it didn't work. Idiot me forgot to uninstall the SCPToolkit drivers. As soon as I did that, DS4Windows registered the controller. Then Steam recognized it, too. Voila! Everything is working now.If you're also playing on PC, it may help to know this changed my default audio output. Confused me for a minute, but easily fixed under sound settings by changing the output.So far, this works very well plugged in. Controls are very smooth. All buttons working. Nothing sticking.I can't comment on how it performs wirelessly, as I prefer a plugged in set-up. I will have to see how the controller holds up over time, but for now, it's working great.I'm also happy with how cute it looks.It's also lightweight feeling in my hands, but doesn't feel cheap/easily broken. Which means good for longer gaming sessions without my hands getting tired.*****I bought this for use on PC. Unfortunately, it didn't work for that purpose.For all I know, this is a perfectly good controller for PS4. However, I don't own one to test that out.I downloaded DS4Windows and ran through installing those drivers. Went through some trouble shooting as well. It just won't recognize the controller is there and neither will steam. Windows shows the controller under devices, so it's technically working when plugged in. But it's impossible to get it to work.If I ever get it working, I may update this review. But otherwise, if you were looking at this to use with PC, I advise you look elsewhere.

It works great

I received my first controller and I was excited, but I plug in my headset and it only produces sound on the right side, in which became very staticky, I got a replacement, the replacement came yesterday I plugged in my headset it worked great. I then proceed to play a game. I discover that the L1 button does not work at all.. Im not sure how I get two defective controllers in one week but I did. Nobody is testing these before they pack and send them. Super disappointing. Because there wasn't one bad review on them.

Love it! Looks awesome & works great! Every now & then L1 won’t work. (Only took off one star for L1 not working) other than that , it’s perfect though!

it works good

It's an amazing looking and feeling controller. Fits good in your hands. The design on it is amazing looking. The connection was good at first had no problems but after a little bit it I would have a more difficult time to connect. Then for good little bit it would have my playstation send me a notification about the controller isn't a full official PlayStation controller. The second thing that I have just recently had with the controller is the left joystick spring is already giving out on me. Where it would have me pan my vision in game off to the left from time and time again. In all honesty it would probably be better if you go to Walmart or GameStop to get yourself a new controller.

This controller easily connects to your ps4. It lasts longer then my other controllers do with battery life and has allowed me to win many battles. It's very easy to hold and feels like the original controller but is way nicer. Perfect for gaming. AmaIng price and worth buying a few in different designs

So, first off, it works. I just want to get that out there. I bought it to play games with, and hey, I can play games with this. So on that front, it's great.Now for reasons why it only gets two stars.The battery life is only about 1/4th or a little less than on a standard Sony PS4 Wireless Controller. So I'm having to charge it more often. Next, it doesn't work in the Sony Charging Cradle, and only charges when plugged into a cord via the port on the front. Third, the speaker on the controller does not work like it should. Audio doesn't play out of it when I play Borderlands or Days Gone, Horizon Zero Dawn, etc. That one is kinda major cause that audio is important. The PS Button, aka the Home Button, sticks if you oress it even a little harder than you need to normally to bring up the side menu. Also, it doesn't vibrate when it should. And finally, the audio output to wired headphones, using three different headphones, is muted compared to plugging the same headphones into a Sony brand wireless controller.All in all, not worth it unless A) it's all you can get and you don't have another option or B) it's for a kid who is really rough on their equipment so you don't want to pay full price for it. I paid $40 for mine, and I'd day it's really only worth about $30, tops.
