These shelves are awesome. The frames are sturdy steel. Easy to put together. My hanging closet shelves almost brought the rod, shelf and everything else down they were so heavy! Got these to replace them. They way these are done you could easily leave off a shelf if you needed a shorter unit. I bought a 4 shelf and 5 shelf. Had I known, I would have gotten 2 5 shelf units. These are perfect for what I wanted them for. I think it would be easy for a sewer to make different, less casual, fabric replacement pieces for not a lot of money if you wanted to upgrade the look a bit. I was pleased when I saw how nicely these were made and packaged. After they were put together and in the closet I was pleased all over again! They look very nice. The shelf size is perfect for clothing storage. Ample enough for bulky sweaters without smushing them. Sooo glad I found these. My budget is tight and these digs are temporary so I can't spend a lot. I was really happily surprised at how nice these shelves are. And sturdy. Really didn't expect them to be this sturdy. If there was plenty of weight on the lower shelves for stability a small TV could probably sit on top of the 4 shelf unit. Impressed by these shelves. A lot.

I purchased this bookcase despite the reviews for the affordability and ease of assembly. It was a bit time consuming to put together but once I got it set up it wasn't too bad. If you are thinking about purchasing this I would say to be sure to have a mallet on hand to hammer in the poles to the plastic attachments because this is what will help to ensure it is more secure. The set doesn't come preequiped with tools so be sure to have at least a mallet handy. Also be careful with the paper film because it can tear easily since it is quite cheap. I also had some clear construction adhesive gorilla glue as there were a couple of the films that had rips in them I took the glue and layered a thin layer across the bottom where the tear was and let it dry. Additionally, if you intend to place large books in this case I would suggest lying them flat so that there isn't too much weight being applied to the film (remember this is Literally a Cheap case) so don't expect too much for the price. Overall it took me two hours to put it together and I took my time. These are photos of it the next day prior to me adding the books in it and to be honest it is sturdy but AGAIN I used a mallet during the installation process. This review is lengthy but I hope it is beneficial to helping someone during making their purchase. Nice and sturdy. Using this for clothes.. so we don’t expect it to weaken from the weight. I didn’t receive the instructions or the middle dividers… hence the lower rating. Other than that no complaints.

Cheap but once it's together, it's sturdy. I was worried it wouldn't be when I was building it. The "sides" don't give 100% coverage of the storage spaces so if you have some little things, they'll fall through. It sufficient for my kiddos things.

Yep, everyone was right, it's a pain in the arse to assemble, but worth it. Once put together it's more stable/sturdy and I would have thought with how lightweight it is. The cubbies are actually larger than I expected based on some reviews and I'm very happy. Someone's review mentioned having a rubber mallet handy....good call.

I will admit this was pretty tough for me to put together and I typically build the furniture in our house. But with my husbands help it was done within 30 min. Fantastic once put together. Very happy.

Let me start off with how apprehensive I was about buying this. It looked cheap, seem like it would fall apart and be trash. I took a chance on it anyways. This turned out to be an amazing buy. It’s very sturdy and materials are pretty darn nice and it looks really good. There are some pros and cons.Pro- it’s very lightweightPro- holds a nice amount of booksPro- materials are nice Now, for all the cons, there’s a couple of them, but not so big that it’s worth returning are not purchasing.Con- shelves are NOT 12.22” apart more like 11.8” so larger books and binders will not fit standing up.Con- no wall safety strap included.Con- Assembly can be a bit of a pain*Now for some shortcuts when assembling.1- put 2 polls through the material before you attach it to the plastic side pieces. Leave it on about half way up the polls so you can grab the two and put them into the holes. Then slide the material down and install the two remaining polls. Makes it so much easier for all the material pieces.2- use a rubber hammer and only hit the plastic. Do not hit the metal directly. If you only have a steal hammer you can use that too just don’t strike it like your hitting a nail. It doesn’t take much force to lock everything into place. You can hear when it’s all the way in.3- once complete go around again and make sure everything it tight and inserted in as altar as possible. This makes it really sturdy and is super light so moving it is easy. I picked it up with one finger.4- find a way to secure it to a wall. Couple zip ties and a screw work for the most part (should have come with one imo)Sorry for the long reed, just felt this needed some attention. It really is a great bookshelf. We even added led lights on the inside front edge to customize it a bit for the kiddos. (Onn brand 16’ led strip worked perfectly with no gap)

It's easy to put together. Sturdy. Nice looking. Stable and not too heavy to move around.

Es algo difícil de armar pero queda resistente y le caben muchas cosas. Si se distribuye bien el peso dejando lo más ligero en la parte de arriba queda muy estable. Se puede armar dándome las distintas formas que vienen en las imágenes pero ya no es posible poner el plástico del fondo, por su tamaño solo alcanza a cubrir dos cuadros.

Nos gustó mucho, el tamaño perfecto, se ve bien y muy fácil de armar. recomendado.
