Very interesting!
As a huge Starset fan this book didn't dissappoint! Very interesting read and got some good humour in it too! Really enjoying reading it.

Better than the comic. A must for Starset fans.
This is superior to the comic version in every way as it has far more detail and the story is less cut down.If you are trying to decide between the two, get this one, read it, then go for the comic.A must for any Starset fan.

Awesome science fiction
Really good read, I couldn't put it down. I hope there's another one because there are questions that need answering!

Absolutely brilliant.
For those who are fans of starset it is a must read as it adds depth and understanding regarding both the band and the music they create, in addition it is just brilliant.

Great story
Amazing plot in this sci-fi novel. Recommended for any who are fans of Starset's music. Provides a greater background for The Order.

Great scifi, bad female characters
5 stars because I read it in one session and couldn't put it down. The pacing was excellent, it is a good piece of scifi and the multimedia integration with the music and demonstrations is truly innovative. BUT, as per usual, we have another weirdly misogynistic piece of scifi from a male perspective that just cannot seem to imagine a woman as something other than a femme fatale love interest, sacrifice, or betrayer to force the all important male protagonist into a heroes journey. Since it was a commissioned book, I don't really know how much of that was the intention of the band but it was a pretty jarring difference from the music videos/rest of the content, and it really detracted from the enjoyability of the book. I think it is a significant read for the particular scifi concepts it brought together, and the warning suggested. I might be a little biased because I just watched Interstellar and hated it with a burning passion and this book was a massive breath of fresh air from that. The criticisms were witty and specific, although there was a strange absence of any reference to AI, I don't know if that is intentional to distinguish it from projects like Scandroid or if they just didn't want to go there. I loved the use of handwritten journals, most of the characters were well developed and believable.

A must read for every Starset fan
The PROX Transmissions, if read without any knowledge of the cinematic rock band, Starset or the Starset Society, is a fairly mundane read. However, it's a whole new level if you're aware of the above. Reading this book makes you appreciate the folklore the band, Starset has created. The very fact that they have a sci-fi book to compliment their music is something that is very new and innovative.Reading this book makes you appreciate their music so much more and makes you hold on to Starset for they are a one of a kind band. This book itself was fairly gripping and had a decent structure for the plot. It also had a good mix of action and suspense on top of the layer of dystopia. With purpose. ✊
