Cressi Protective Box for Masks

European Outdoors was listed as the seller of this item. I read the reviews and people were clearly receiving the newest version of the Cressi box for snorkel masks (and not the older tub container pictured). Since that is what I wanted and the price was a few dollars less than the correct listings for this item, I took a chance. I ordered 3 and received 3 just like I wanted.Now then, let me tell you about the kinda lame part… I had previously ordered some Cressi mask and snorkel combos. The masks came shoved into a “carrying case” that was a really tight fit. My hunch is that these “carry cases” were meant for the snorkel only. Now… buying Cressi gear on Amazon or the rest of the internet can be a crap shoot, but what is clear to me now is that some of these places are just putting together combos by shoving a mask in with the snorkel. And then… just as pictured here, they are selling the cases for a little extra profit. This case I received was clearly just the packaging for a different mask. It’s nice to get the case, but I feel a bit like the whole buying process was more shady than necessary.

We purchased these on Amazon.com at the same time as purchasing our new Cressi masks and snorkels for a trip to FL. These are durable, and roomy for a larger mask. We have the tri-glass mask by Cressi with the side glass. They fit perfect, even with the neoprene band installed on the masks. Highly recommend.

If you spend the money to get a good quality mask it needs to be protected for ling life. This box is a good size and is able to hold an older mask I have that's a bit bigger. The box is sturdy and lid fits nice and tight. Confident it will hold up to many hours/days/years of use. Thinking about getting another one as a backup just in case. I've spent most of my life and time snorkeling/Scuba diving, field sampling, helping educate the next generation about the marine environment through volunteering at my local aquarium or just walking the beach and relaxing so I have a lot of gear with me and in the car. My old mask box was showing major signs of wear and tear and badly needed to be replaced. I saw this box and didn't give it a second though purchases it right away. The one that showed up was a clam shell variety which was a good box but I needed the open top kind for where it sits in my bag. After contacting Prime Scuba and explaining why it wouldn't work for me they were willing to help me get the box I needed. They were even kind enough to let me keep the original one. Thank you. I got this mask box because I was looking for an inexpensive container to keep my mask from getting crushed or having the lens scratched up. This box does fill that role but like a couple of the earlier reviews stated what I got was not the top lid box pictured in the ad but a clamshell style box that opens at the middle. While the plastic the box is constructed of is thicker than Tupperware it flexes a lot more than my Scuba Max and IST mask boxes. It is also smaller with internal dimensions of 6.5 x 3 inches at the top and bottom, 7.75 x 4 inches at the middle part where it is widest and opens up at with an inside height around 4.75 inches. Although it is smaller it's still able fit the Oceanways Sealynx masks that I use with their snorkel attachments on the mask strap. The flexing that the box exhibits is not an issue for me because I just have a snorkel, fins, towel and other relatively light stuff in my swim bag as opposed to a heavy air tank and dive weights. Although I would have preferred to have gotten the top opening box that was in advertisement this one does fulfill all my requirements, was inexpensive and had free shipping so I stuck with it.

Purchased after the case my mask shipped in arrived crushed. Big enough to fit mask, neoprene strap, and spit spray with room left over. Pretty sturdy. Seems like it will be durable enough to survive the recesses of a scuba bag.

Cressi put tape over their logo on the case. When I removed the tape, part of the logo came off. Does it matter on a case that will get thrown around luggage and dive boats, probably not. However, you’d expect it to look new for more than 2 seconds after opening the package.

All diving equipment should be able to breath and dry out. This box is completely sealed. I have put holes in it to breath.

Fits my Cressi mask well. Initial quality and durability appear good.

I love this case! It has such heavy duty plastic and I feel like my masks are safe in here always!Would definitely recommend this case for the longevity of your Dive masks!it doesn't have any filtration holes in this case though so my mask fogs up when I take it out but it's not that big of an issue at all.

Dimensiones adecuadas para el equipo, aunque siento que no será muy duradero. Recomendaría la que es de tapa a presión y no de seguros.

Sadly scotch tape used removes the writing, hence product looks old and used :(
