Used and broke itself in under a minuet
Looks like it was used, smudged and has a small crack on the battery cover tab. On top of that the thing barely worked, it went from hardly moving to shaking like crazy, after about a minuet of use it started making a terrible noise and something is now broken inside. Returning.

Doesn't turn off.
When I received it, all seemed fine till I plugged it in and it wouldn't turn off. The on/off button didn't work at all. You have to pull the cord when you want it off. It's too much trouble to send it back so I'm stuck with it.

Power button doesn't work.
Power button doesn't work. Unit is always on and I have to unplug it to turn it off. It is inconvenient, but at least it works.I use this to shake Citadel, Army Painter and Vallejo paints. It does the job well and saves my wrists so I like it. It is loud, but I wouldn't expect less for what it does. It isn't terribly loud but could wake someone sleeping in a neighboring room if used at night. I would actually give this 5 stars if the power switch worked. At least it is stuck in the on position and not the off position.Edit: I've given this 3 stars, up from 2. I took a screwdriver and took it apart a bit. Didn't see anything wrong or weird about the construction, but when I reassembled it the power button started working. Maybe the case was too tight originally or something else, but it seems to work fine now. Worthy buying for the price.

Unsure of Performance So Far...Read On...
The jury is still out on this...I am using the shaker for craft paint, 2oz bottles. It does the job, but you can tell it really doesn't want to. The unit will go from a strong shake then start to struggle, then as if it ate its spinach, starts to strengthen again. We will see what happens, it may work better with nail polish bottles as it was intended.
