Best Bang for the Buck!
I have 8 fly rods ranging from 4 wt to 8 wt. I firmly believe this is the best fly rod under $50 on the market. Casting, responsiveness, backbone -- this rod has loads of it! I've cast dry flies, tandem rigs, jigs and more with it. Caught bass, crappie, monster bluegill/redear, and trout. I bought this for one trip, and it has become my go-to fly rod. Hard to imagine a more versatile fly rod -- especially for the price!

A touch heavier than my other 6 wt but much more backbone
Switched from a redington 6wt to this and it’s definitely worth the price. A little heavier than the other rod but much more backbone and casting distance. Definitely recommend especially if fighting stronger fish with tackle on the lighter side.

This rod is a great value!
Great functioning and looking 6wt rod. Running low end WF6F and it casts well. Single foot guides instead of snake if that matters. Can't find anything to complain about and the trout don't seem to know they aren't being caught by a $500 rod.

Great rod, extra stiff, pay attention to line taper
Tried out several fly lines before I could find one that suited this rod best. Standard WF6 and WF7 lines didn't load the rod well, or felt significantly too heavy. Tried out a Rio wf6 bass line and it works fantastic. If you're going to get this rod, go for a line that has a shorter, heavier front head and it'll do amazingEdit- I've used the rod a lot more since and there's a LOT to be desired in tip sensitivity. This this is a pool cue and I'm confident I have the full ability to rip a large bass out of grass through sheer backbone alone. However, this will leave you wanting when targeting anything That's less than a pound. I'd advise saving money and going for a slightly better rod. Sure you get a cheap rod but the enjoyment in fishing this is hard to find.
