Great after shoulder surgery
I’m in recovery after shoulder surgery. On my PT exercise plan, there are rotations with bands. I like the cushioned handles a lot. They make the rotations bearable. I have already regained some range of motion. With the door anchor, that I also purchased, I can bring the bands on business trips and continue my workouts on the road.

Professional grade? They're not kidding.
You could spend a few dollars more and get a set of resistance bands, assorted goodies, and a carry bag :-) Big deal. The Dynapro is truly a quality product and worth the money. If you select the right resistance for you, then one band will probably be all you need. (It's difficult to tell which one you'll need from the description – maybe you order a few, find the one that works, and return the rest?)One thing I especially like is that the handle sides are rigid plastic, not flexible webbing material. The design allows the grip to rotate while the side support remains in place. This is huge. Once you use the other kind, you'll see what I mean.REVIEW EDIT!!After probably a year of light to moderate home use, my black (max. resistance) DYNAPRO band snapped off at the handle. There's a lot of force, and I felt lucky to have been only startled, not injured. I wrote the company and supplied a photo, and they sent me a new band.I continued to use the old band (tied a big loop and put my shoe within it to do bicep exercises). Just today, the band snapped right at the second original handle. See photo. Now I'm not going to ask the company for any compensation, but if you're reading this review as a potential buyer, you should know that band failure is a real possibility. If I had been abusing or misusing the product, I would say so.

The packaging has improved and instructions are now included - See below.
I received this band with only one of the ball things, but there was no instructions, so I didn't care because I didn't know what it was for anyway. I almost cut the band trying to make it shorter, but luckily looked on YouTube first and saw the ball thing is the adjustment mechanism. You wedge the green band in the D handle using the ball. In my case (with just one ball) there is a long length from one of the handles, which is annoying, but it does work well.If you buy this, make sure you actually get two ball things as pictured; and secondly, if you don't understand how to do it (there are NO instructions with this item) go to YouTube and see it done. Would including a piece of paper showing what to do really be that hard?Update: 6/21/15: Unlike the others here, I received NO discount to try it and write a review, just purchased the item. Someone from the company did contact me about a replacement which I offered to pay for, but nothing ever came.Update: 6/24/15: After a second contact with the company, a replacement was sent to me. This time it was nicely packaged in a zip lock plastic bag instead of taped up plastic AND it contained BOTH adjustment balls AND a nice little instruction sheet showing how to use them to adjust the length; and it gave the website where you can find exercises for the bands. A BIG improvement for someone like me who was totally unfamiliar with the product. I used the band to try some of the recommended exercises and think it will be a big help, especially in the colder months. It is compact and doesn't need much storage space like other exercise equipment, so it is suitable for even the smallest living spaces, which is a very big PLUS. The exercises are very versatile, engaging many more muscle groups than I had imagined. Definitely make the effort to find the exercise videos if you are a novice (like myself). Thank-you to DynaPro for making good on the replacement.

Updated Review: Nice quality but might need some getting used to
Updated Review:So I have had these for about 6 months and they have begun to tear and will soon need to be replaced. Not sure if this is common among resistance bands, but these particular ones have begun to from two small tears/holes. The first instance was in December, I adjusted this by pulled the cord higher up into the handle. However, the second & third tear (see photo) have form in the middle part of the band where most of the resistance happens and I don't see these lasting another month. Debating on replacing with the same brand or trying out a new one.Original Review:So I was finally able to start to use these the other day and I do like they are comfortable and they seem very durable which is good (my last pair broke, not this brand but a standard paid that came with the TapOut XT workout DVDs).My only complaint/dislike is the handles. The hard plastic has its pros and cons in my opinion. The PROS would be that the handles are nice and sturdy, allow you to adjust the length, when doing arm raises or punches with the bands they stay nice straight. The CONS with having the hard plastic handle is that when I go to do a curl, my wrist hits the hard plastic, and depending on how fast and tight the curls are depends on how much it begins to irritate my wrist. I have only done one hour worth of a workout with this band so far so maybe down the road I'll be able to adapt to this feeling, but right now it is irritating. I would maybe widen the handles slightly so the wrist does not hit it, or maybe make it a different material so it is less irritating when doing curls.Again, I do like the product and I feel like they will last, I just noticed the issue with handles and my wrist, which could just be on my end and might not cause problems for other users.I will continue to do a full 90 days of using the band to see if my wrist/technique is able to adapt to the handles. Once I have a better feel for how they are doing I will decide if I'll buy another pair or try something a little different.
