Blackhawk Night-Ops Xiphos NTX Weapon Mounted Light, Right Hand

Okay so first let me say this, those that broke the latch mechanism clearly did not read the installation instructions and had it over tightened. I had no problems securing the light to the rail and it is snug. I am pleased with this product. Awesome light for your firearm. Looks good and easy to setup/install/operate. This is a bit on the expensive side but it is worth the purchase. The weight of a full magazine and the light are well balanced on my specific firearm. If you are looking to purchase the Blackhawk Serpa Level 3 Duty Holster, I highly recommend this light. Just remember to purchase the light bearing holster.

I was unsure of this light as I’ve always used Streamlight TLR-1’s on my duty weapons. I wanted the level 3 SERPA holster so I bought the light. Very light, easy to install and fit my Kimber Desert Warrior like a glove. Illuminates very well and doesn’t move when I shoot.

Light Is Nice. Seems A Little Like Cheap Plastic, But It Is Very Light. The Light Is Bright And Functions Well, Though Not As Bright As My Streamlight. Fit Perfect On My Glock 21 And Fits Well In The Holster.

GLOCK 21 GEN 3. DON'T HET AGITATED IF IT DOESN'T SEEM LIKE IT WILL FIT IF THE CLAMP WON'T LOSE SIMLLY SPIN IT (LOOSEN) UNTIL IT WILL.LIGHT WORKS GREAT ITS BRIGHT FITS LIKE A GLOVE IN THE HOLSTER. IT HAS A STROBE OR CONSTANT BEAM. HOLSTER IS GREAT VERY COMFY FITS GREAT ON A DUTY BELT. I BOUGHT ANOTHER ONE AND CHANGED IT OVER TOO A PADDLE SO I COULD CARRY IT OFF DUTY.

I have used Surefire, and Streamlight, I think this light is right there with them, maybe a little under the streamlight, but for the money, and the design I like it better than the Streamlight. I got this to ride in a Blackhawk Serpa holster... it is pretty awesome. The light is fitted to a Sig Sauer .40 226, and it looks as good as it performs. It does not stick out an inch in front of the muzzle, and clears the holster easily. I use it in a high rise holster, and there are no issues. For the money, I think this is one of the best systems (holster + light) on the market. Loving it.

adding an addendum to the review. I gave this light another chance. Now I I have to try to describe this light without cop language. It sucks so bad I wouldn’t sell it to my worst enemy for twice what I paid for it. I don’t dislike anyone that much. This light is pure grade A fecal matter. Now I have to buy a new holster because this piece of scat is the only light that will fit. But, at least I’m getting rid of the Serpa derpa holster. I kid you not, this light turns on by itself! Sitting in my duty rig at the foot of the bed and I’ll wake up (my wife actually) with the light on. I was given marching orders to get rid of it or she will get rid of me.

Force to purchase this light so I can use the Blackhawk SERPA Level 3 Light Bearing Duty Holster 44H500BK-R. I highly recommend the holster. However, I recommend Streamlights for a rail light. This light isn't as bright and is made of mostly plastic. I just hope it holds up, the switch is not designed well and it appears to be very flimsy and could break easily. The light mount is odd, it doesn't mount strait on the light. It hangs over to the left side of the weapon by a 1/4 of an inch off center. This doesn't interfere with the operation of the weapon or the light. It just looks odd and like its going to mess with the weight of the weapon, however this is not the case. It just looks weird.

I love this light because it has multiple functions and it is very very bright. It is easy to install on the weapon and it lights up the dark like no other light I have used or seen. I would highly recommend this light to anyone wanting a great light at a really affordable price. A+ item.
