I know what you're thinking, "They can't be worth the price over a bunch of the cheap wooden ones!" My friend, this thing is a kill-o-matic. This is the problem solver you've been looking for. Pay the price, they are worth it. A 6 pack of these is worth 24 of the cheaper ones. I felt dumb after buying the cheaper ones.I keep these on hand because they are extremely dependable. These are absurdly easy to load, clean, and if it goes off you know you've got your intruder. No fiddling with spreading peanut butter or spray cheese on a yellow flap. No fiddling with getting a finicky bar aligned properly without snapping your fingers. With these you just stick an almond or whatever you've got in the hole, pull back the bar to lock it, and wait for that snap noise in the middle of the night. 5 stars. Easily the best rodent removal tool I've used. Will definitely buy more in the future.

Worked great!! We've caught rats and mice. These were 100% better than the all plastic models.

I found these much easier to use than the wooden traps...much easier to set without fear of snapping your fingers in the process.

I kept seeing signs of a mouse, but my mousetraps never caught any. These traps do the job. They are easy to bait and set, and swiftly dispatch the mouse with a quick snap. The mice do not seem to have any time to suffer; death is instantaneous right after their choice of their last meal.They do not catch the mouse EVERY time -- I had to rebait the trap a couple of times when the mouse managed to eat the peanut butter bait without setting off the trap. But overall, very effective. I caught six mice. If you are squeamish about seeing the dead mouse and extricating it from the trap, you will have a problem with these. However, the type of traps that catch a mouse without you having to see the dead mousie weren't effective, so what's the point?

I won’t share a picture of how well these traps work but just take my word for it. After putting these down with a little PB it took maybe three hours to catch some mice. It could have been faster than that but I didn’t go down to the basement to check! These are the best…no more stealing the PB and running away. And no suffering. The only sufferable part for me is getting rid of them. You can absolutely use them again but I’m a girl so that’s not happening!! But they are reusable and when I didn’t live alone my other half would empty it and put it back to catch another and it worked just as well as the first time! These traps work extremely well and I did not hurt myself putting them out and he didn’t get hurt when removing to reuse!

Seemed like a good idea, but I think it catches more customers than mice. Easy to set, but not easy to make it hair trigger. The best way I found was to stand a almond or nut of some kind in the pot (a drop of superglue to hold it in place) would help trip it when the mice struggled with the nut. Even then it was not highly effective. Peanut butter was only a free meal for them. The diving board water trap has proven the most reliable.
