Definitely needs another one to go under it because it deflated and is not very good for comfort. It is lightweight and easy to pump but it works better with the palm of my hand than my foot.

I was a little skeptical that this could easily inflate since it looked so flat when rolled out, the pump almost didn't seem to be working at first. However, I soon could see the sleeping pad take shape and it really took less than a minute!It fit perfectly in my back of my Model Y with one of the rear seats folded down. The pad provided some cushioning to sleep on for one night. If I were using for more than a night or two, I would go for something better. Worked well for my usage of a night and I'm an overweight adult. I'm going to keep it in my car since it folds down so small in it's own little baggy for any impromptu uses that may come up.EDIT: I used this for a 3 night trip, had to reinflate it a little each night, but that was simple to do with the built in pump. I had a sleeping bag too, which I think provided just the touch more of cushioning I needed, no back issues when using it for 3 nights straight!

We go tthis for my daughters campout, and it would not stay inflated all night. It pumps up ok with your foot as advertised, but there is somthing that doesnt work well for it to stay inflated. Maybe not a good seal. WE tried it at home as well, Same issue.

This mattress blows up and deflates quickly, and it’s nice not having to bring an extra pump since it’s built into the mattress already. It’s also very compact and won’t take up much space when going camping.

Maybe I didn’t inflate it correctly but every time i turned around I felt like i was sleeping on the floor. I’d rather sleep on a twin air mattress, i think they take up the same amount of space in a backpack but an air mattress will give you more comfort at night.
