GE WD12X10327 Roller and Stud Assembly 4 Pack

I noticed that my GE dishwasher top rack was wobbly when I tried to slide it out and saw that one of the rail roller was coming apart. I googled the replacement parts and found them on some online parts store and with shipping, it came to over $24 to get the parts. I decided to search for the part on Amazon and this product came up and with the price and one day shipping, I placed the order right away.I removed the top rack after finding the directions on YouTube and removed the broken part and decided to keep the ones that are not broken. I got the order the next day and replaced the broken part and put the rack back in and the rack slid in and out perfectly. I will save the extra three in case the other ones start to go out..

I needed disher rack end caps and had already pulled the item number off the GE web site, and while I was there, I decided to also replace these little gizmos.These were like 20 bucks on the GE website, so I was SUPER pleased that they were so much cheaper here. I will tell you I was expecting one pack of 4 and I got 4 backs of 4. But I think that was their fault in packing my order. And if they want them back after reading my review. Let me know I will ship them back at your expense. :)Anyway, they were super easy to install, unlike a prior review. The old ones break when they pop off since they are so brittle, but the new ones just slid on the peg and then the hook part snaps over. I was able to handle it with very little frustration. And trust me, I get frustrated pretty easily. They work great and now it is smooth sailing to unload the dishwasher and since I also ordered stops for the end of the dishwasher rack, I can have my six year old open and unload without worrying he will pull the entire top rack out and ruining all my glasses!! Super, eh?

Parts work well with 18 yr old GE dishwasher. Slightly different design compared to the parts for the old washer in that the wheels are a little narrower. We had to keep a couple of the older wider wheels to prevent the tray from falling into the tub (as they glide on the grooves to the side). That is why I took one star off. Have had the parts in the washer for over 4 months now - they seem durable.

Most difficult part of this was finding out what parts to purchase, as GE uses this item, as well as some similar looking ones, on most of their dishwashers. I would have appreciated if the installation instructions had been included, but if one removes 1 @ a time, and pays attention as to how the original parts were installed, it should be a piece of cake for most everyone. My wife wanted a new dishwasher since the upper rack had fallen off the broken original rollers, and had dumped some nice glassware & cups onto the floor, but I surprised her w/ her newly refurbished dishwasher, and saved about $500. All is good. And, the supplier did a credible job - very reasonable cost (incl shipping), and filled the order correctly the first time - a wonder of wonders these days - and I rec'd the parts in a couple of days.

We finally had to replace these rollers on our almost 20 year old Kenmore dishwasher. These worked great! So, far so good, but it has only been a few months after the replacement. Great price compared to some of the online appliance parts stores that charge a lot for shipping (in my opinion).

Have GE dishwasher purchased before I stopped buying their stuff due to involvement with MSNBC and other stuff that just went against my grain.The roller assemblies were fine, likely with Chinese inked "GE" on the bag.When removing end caps it is best to first flex the the locking strip of metal on outside the rail outward before taking them out. I suspect they sell the end caps only as a result of the twist and pull only technique of removal. Clearance may be tight so be careful of adjacent cabinet when prying strip out with old American or European steel, thin bladed screw driver.New roller assembly appears nylon which may not degrade (yellowing) from the chemical bath that dishwasher parts get.Installation was a breeze after cap removal. Re installing cap made easier by shaving a bit of an angle on nib that gets locked in so it can slide in more readily. Use needle nose pliers to bend locking strip back. The locking strip is what keeps the cap, roller and ultimately the rack from flying out of the rail.

These GE WD12X10327 rollers were an exact replacement for the damaged originals on our 16-year old GE dishwashers top rack. The new rollers and studs came in a pack of four and were fairly easy to install. They are working as good as the original ones did before they failed and the top rack now rolls smoothly again.
