I got unpainted version too i return mine. I thinking ordering again but im afraid that i will get the same unpainted version again.

I've tried the McFarlane website for an answer but didn't find anything about "platinum editions". My theory is that 1 of every 100+ is unpainted and boxed as "platinum". There are clearly fewer unpainted than painted versions. The collectibles market has a phrase for this, but I don't recall what it is. They have the same UPC number as the painted versions which makes it complicated when you order.

I got the unpainted version also. I don't want unpainted figures. Is anyone getting actual finished & painted product? These don't count as finished.

Definitely agree with you; for what is described as an 'ultra-rare' chase figure, there seem to be quite a few of these blank mock-ups in circulation at the moment. I'm awaiting my replacement, now scheduled to arrive today, and wondering what I'll end up with this time....
