Our BOOKMATCHED pattern is inspired by the amazing woodworking tradition utilized in fine cabinet and instrument making. In this technique a thick board is split down edge and opened like a book. These halves are joined, and the grain of the two halves create an organic mirror image. We use proprietary carving and forging techniques to achieve the same look in our solid stainless steel BOOKMATCHED pattern rings. BOOKMATCHED bands are ideally suited for inlaying with a thin stripe of precious metal down the center line of the ring.
