I remember seeing taxi cab drivers use these back in the 90’s and thought I’d give it a shot. Purchased the beaded seat cover for a jeep Wrangler driver side seat planning to drive across the country and wanting to reduce the usual sweaty back and shorts despite having leather seats. I drove 8,000 miles with this product over the last month and didn’t have any problems with sweaty back or pants, I was absolutely amazed. The real wood beads are held together with a thick woven cord that has not frayed at all. A bonus was the mat that goes under the beads. The mat protects the leather seats and stops the beads from moving around, but it’s also great at managing the crumbs from your snacking! Crumbs fall through the beads and collect on the mat, which you can pull out and shake in the street. This was a fantastic unanticipated feature.I highly recommend this to anyone looking for a more comfortable driving experience.

I see what some other product reviews say about the style that are 'fishing line'. This is solid, nylon string. Can't imagine it'll break or come apart, unless there's some small spot I'm not seeing where the knot could come loose. Otherwise, this should last.Comfort is great. From first day use yesterday, felt difference of sweat under legs. Driving a few hundred miles this weekend, and am looking forward to seeing how it feels after that.

It fits my mini cooper seat perfectly and that's what I love most. It arrived exactly as described. It seems sturdy, is very comfortable and looks amazing. I've seen other reviews say the beads will stain your light colored seats. I have black leather so hopefully nothing shows on them. I'll update if needed.

This is built for a headrest seat. I used a nylon washcord and tied it crosswise to keep it upright. This is a comfortable, well made seat. We use it in our RV and it keeps your back cool and massages at the same time. We drive 5 hours or about 300 miles per day. My upper torso is more relaxed and I do not experience the tenseness from before. It is well made and worth the 25% more premium you might pay for it. I would buy this again.

This is great. A little background - I did a 4000 mile car journey last summer and although my leather seats are really comfy, they were hot and my back started to hurt a little. I purchased this product in order to try and 1) get a little more air circulating between me and the seat and 2) to possibly improve upon my back comfort. I just drove 35 out of 50 hours to get to my destination...so, basically three full days of driving with some sleeping thrown in and I can't say enough about this product. I'm so glad I spent the money on it. Not only were my pants dry from air circulation, I had no pressure points from all the sitting, my back, neck and shoulders feel SO much better because I could easily move myself around my seat as I drove making little micro-movements. It was like little roller balls of massage when I moved my hips around while driving. I could glide an inch, or two, side to side with my back allowing for my spine a little freedom of movement, and sometimes I'd do the same with the back of my head, which created a little head massage-like feeling. Overall, I have to say that if you drive and feel any discomfort, please try this. It really is a game changer. I will update about durability if anything changes in that area, but for now, everything works fine and has held up well.

This beaded seat cushion is head and shoulders above the kind put together with clear monofilament! It looks very nice, stays in place as I slide in/out, because of the antislip cushion that comes with it, and feels much softer because of the flexible nylon cording. I had one of those monofilament ones for over 6 years (kept in the garage out of the sun). It was functional. The air flowed though it and cooled me in my soft top Jeep, but it felt knobby and stayed wadded up under me all the time. None of those problems with this one. I really like it. I think the price was ridiculous for what it's made of. I got it "used" from Amazon for $59. About 10% off "new." I docked it two stars for value, but still, I wouldn't pay $25 for the monofilament kind anymore. They fall apart very quickly and are NOT comfortable.

Pro: The size is right for car seat, and it offers great cooling feel when it is cool.Con: Beads gets warm soon and is hard to cool down. It is so slippery that I'm being tossing around when cornering. I'm also sliding forward and need to adjust frequently. Additionally, it raise the seating position, then my elbows cannot rest on the center console and door.
