These headphones are excellent, so good that when my wife tried mine on she immediately told me to order a pair for her which I just did. Now that is a good review if there ever was one. And of course the sound is wonderful and clear in every way. The materials (Metal) look and feel very strong, not like cheap plastic.

I've ordered 4 sets of these little guys, both for my own devices and as gifts to fellow music lovers. The sound is gorgeously balanced for such an inexpensive pair of earphones, and the cable is very easy to keep tangle-free. The fit was perfect out of the box for me, but there are lots of options for other ear sizes. The plug is solid and connection is snappy and confidence-inducing. They're as easy to use as any wired earbuds, and if you're not using an amp, they protect your ears really well. Couldn't recommend these enough!

The Betron YSM1000 Headphones are very capable ear buds for listening to music, podcasts, videos, eBooks, or anything else you might want to use them with on your phone, eReader, or other devices. The sound comes out in quite clear stereo audio, with I feel just the right degree of bass (my last ones had a rather higher bass than I often would have preferred) and I’ve had no issues with the adjustment of the volume. The switch, which peculiarly is on the wire of the left-ear side, works well; though if you’re using it in the dark it’s easy to hit the wrong button; and certain commands require double and triple clicks which will be tricky for some people, and you might be better off navigating directly with the connected device instead. I use it with both my iPhone and Kindle Fire HD, and minor switch difficulties aside, I’ve not found anything major of which to complain. It comes with three sizes of earpieces—of which I use the middle one and it fits very well only rarely falling out—and though that’s not a lot I think most people shouldn’t have an issue finding one of them that feels snug and secure.My previous ear buds (which were from a different company) had lasted about a year and a half before one side stopped working—first intermittently, then all together—making them essentially useless. Time will tell how long these ones will keep going on, but in the already over two and a half years during which I’ve used them there have been no notable technical problems. One issue I initially had was that the long wires could easily get tangled up on itself or caught between objects, but that was solved by simply shortening the length by using a twist-tie. Overall, I’d say they’re the best wired buds I’ve bought to date (they’re only my second discounting ones packaged with other devices, but nevertheless that is praise) having been satisfied in its comfort and quality in all that I’ve used them for, and also, obviously, in their durability up to this point.

04.25.25Very good earbuds. No, they are NOT noise cancelling, and they don't state that they are. They fit the ear well, do not slip out during exercise. The cord is very durable/flexible (not stiff or rigid). The cord length is fine for my use, small sandisk mps3 player clipped onto waist band of gym shorts or gym pants.I've used a couple different models of the Betron brand earbuds and all were of great sound and quality. I still use on occasion my old (1970's) AKG headphones for listening to vinyl and these Betron earbuds are very good comparatively.gvm

I give these headphones a OK rating. They work fine and the sound is good. However, they ARE NOT tangle free which is why I chose this set. I would not buy again because every time I remove them they tangle. They feel kind-of rubbery. The length is plenty long.

2018 August update: One full year later and still working. Nor many of my prior earbuds can say the same. Here is the original 2017 review ...These days the under $50 headphones have been getting better and better, so when i saw this well rated $40 earbud discounted to $20, I decided to take a chance. I have poor tolerance for bad earbuds and have tossed out more than a few pairs rather than let them ruin my music. So for $20, I figured it was was worth taking a chance. When I tried it, my reaction was Wow! This is good, very good. It reproduces great music that is loud and clear. In fact, it's louder than all of my other earbuds. It hit's the highs, the midrange, and some of the base . Most importantly, the singers voice are sharp and clear. Even at $40, it would be worth the money. So what does doesn't it do?. You noticed I said "some of the base." It gets enough bass for easy listening and you'll definitely know it's there, but it wont shake your head, rock your socks, or kick your boots. A few of my other headphones get more bass. However, for under $50, I have to trade off something, volume, clarity, highs, mid-range, or bass. If you want to get all of this, you'll need to buy a Bose Soundsport Pulse or another $200 earbud. (I haven't tried all of the pricey buds, but I just tried out the Soundsport Pulse this morning. I'd love to have one, but it's way outside my budget.)2018 UpdateOrignal "good earbud should last at least a year. If it doesn't make the cut, I will update this rating." It's August 2018 and they are still going strong. It made the cut.

I needed a good wired pair of earbuds for my Zune, and these sound amazing. They look pretty cool too, but the main thing is the sound quality of these are really amazing.
