TridentInstructor Size Underwater Writing Dive Slates (White, 2" x 4")

The size itself is fine, but the actual amount of surface space you get to write on is really bad.Most of the writing area is taken up by the strap it comes with. Even if you take off the strap there are large holes where they slide through.Overall its decent for emergencies or small notes, but know that it was not what I expected.

We have used it on about 30 dives. The slate works well for my wife to communicate on dives. The pencil does eventually wear out from salt water. But it is easily and cheaply replaced with a golf pencil or a regular pencil cut to size. We eventually purchased a trident retractor clip for it so it hangs out of the way but is available if needed. Small enough to be unobtrusive. Light enough for travel. Big enough to get the job done.
