Sometimes you have to cut your taters just to get them to fit right. I ended up buying a pampered chef one that now this one is a waste

I like this product it gives you clean cut with the potato . Don’t use big potato’s , cut them before using in the potato cutter . I wish this machine was bigger and longer for sweet potato’s.

We make homemade fries at least four times a week. If you're using tiny little potatoes I suppose it would work, but there's no way you can even fit half a russet in there. I returned it.

If you want a FF slicer that cuts tiny, child size potatoes, then this is the gadget for you! Don’t even waste your time by trying to use a standard size russet potato. I didn’t rate it for being easy to clean because we tossed it after attempting to use it. It sliced the potatoes ok, but is incapable of making a normal size French fry. Don’t buy it. You’d be better off slicing them yourselves with your kitchen Chef knife.

I was skeptical that this would be able to cut potatoes but it does. I was also able to cut carrots but did not try it on sweet potatoes. Feels really sturdy and did not take too much strength to cut potatoes.

I buy this recently and is a super easy to use, I get nice fries shape every time. My kids don't know the diference from the ones we buy frozen. The only they notice is that taste lot much better. I like this item so much.
