These are the best tub filters I've ever had! They fit perfectly over the drain, are extremely easy and quick to clean, and don't protrude over the regular height of the drain. They also feel a lot sturdier than plastic counterparts.

Maybe too fine for rapid water drainage but does the filtering job as expected in a solid design- reasonably priced.

This product is the only thing on the market that looks attractive, does not capture water, and works on bathubs to capture hair! The only drawback is that if you have the push/ lift down plug you will have to remove it to put this in place. But that is fine for me or for anyone that only takes showers in their tub. Love, love this product.

It works as advertised. It is easy to use (it fits nicely over the drain) and when it is filled up (clogged with hair) it takes 5.2 seconds to clean (on a good day). Some people have complained about it clogging up fast but (a) that is because this strainer will catch any hair and (b) isn't that what it is for?Make sure to measure your drain properly because the strainer doesn't really offer much flexibility in case of errors.

I should have purchased these ages ago (I already had the larger kitchen sink variety, which are also great) ! I had to unblock my bathtub at least once a month, from just my hair (I'm a guy with short to medium length fair hair), which I did using boiling water from an electric kettle, with the whole thing being a tiresome chore, and I was also concerned that the boiling water might eventually cause the modern plastic pipes to spring a leak (you can hear them making noises as a result of the sharp temperature change). Now, with these stainless steel strainers, the shower water drains not long after I've toweled dry (the water that collects during showering isn't so much as to be an issue), and I just put the captured hair to the side, and run the water for a second to wash down the remaining soap (I highly recommend Dove's Men+Care Body+Face bar (I prefer the Extra Fresh scent), which keeps my skin in good shape, and unlike with regular bath soap, it doesn't leave a layer of soap scum).

Make sure you very precisely measure your tub drain opening. This item has a collar on the bottom which is between 1 10/16" and 1 11/16". This prevents if from sitting flush on the drain opening and hence, water and hair can get underneath. This defeats the whole purpose. Otherwise, decent product.

These are so perfect for regular tubs but they do no drop down in a walk in tub that has a magnetic type drain plug. For this to fit my drain perfect it could only be 1/4 inch deep. In any case for anyone wondering I have this type screen in my kitchen sink and I think it is by far the best screen to have in drains if you don’t want things backing the drains up. Perfect invention in my opinion!
