I'm using this for single track trails while riding to alert mostly hikers and other trail users. Not very loud but works well. Let it dangle from my seat post gear bag. Cheers.

Nice quality. Has held up for months, even with daily use. My 14.5 year old dog is deaf now, so she can't hear me call her. This bell on her collar helps me find her.

Just as described. The bell is large and well made. The magnet works to keep it quiet just as I'd hoped. Just tested walking with it...impressed for the purpose of hiking. Good find

Bell has good clear sound. Magnetic silencer strap could be a little longer and magnet a bit stronger. Silence comes off easily when bumped.

works great when its ringing but magnet on strap is not strong enough -so when in quiet position still make a fairly loud sound that would be hard to stop without sticking something into it

This bell is nice and loud, ringing with even the smallest motion. The metal used for the bell itself is nice and thick. and I don't expect any durability issues. The magnetic silencer is a great idea and stops all noise when activated.

I purchased this bell for my sighted dog to wear when out walking with my blind dog. The bell is just the right tone that the old guy can hear it and keep track of where my other dog is. This seems to help him feel a little more confident when we go for walks. I really like the silencer magnet so I can just quiet the bell when I walk my sighted dog on his own. The bell is loud but I don't find it too bothersome t hear when on a long walk.

I keep this attached to my pack while mountain biking to warn hikers or hunters that I’m on the trail, especially on downhills. It works great to inform others you are there and avoid a collision. Other reviewers complained that the magnet silencer didn’t work well but I find if you twist the strap and slide it into the bottom of the bell it keeps the bell completely silent.
