It's about 8" high to the top of its head as pictured here. It is 12" long. It will also sit up pretty well and in that position the head is probably about 12" high.

No real fur of any kind is used.

When it was new you could make it stand, sit or lay down. My grand daughter loved it so much she took it everywhere.Now it is a little loose and pretty much lays all the time.
