Yay! It works!
Well doggone! It really works! Here's a photo of my first salad. I eat salad for dinner, so this bowl (trough?) represents two "goes" with the salad chopper! It literally takes seconds. For those of you who own "killer" Cutco knives, I'll say this: don't "saw". And don't use the "Double D" knives in your set. I used my Santoku Petite 6" Chef. Lightly press down from front to back, and let the knife do the work. You won't hack up the plastic plate of the unit. The romaine lettuce is cut into pretty small pieces, smaller than I'd usually do, so next time I'll try inserting my Santoku knife into "every other" slot. This first salad is simple: fresh tomato cut into quarters, sweet white onion chunks about the same size, and chunks of romaine lettuce leaves about the size of my palm.

Good for salad, and thats about it
First off, its smaller than you would expect. It works great for salad and not so much else. We tried salad and veggies, fruits, and chicken. It really struggled with anything other than salad. Knife we used was sharpened before every use, so not much a factor.I'd say if you want this for cutting salad ONLY, then maybe its worth it. They advertise other things (veggies, fruits, etc) because they don't want it to seem like a one trick pony, but that is absolutely what it is. I find it a little hard to justify using this for a single item in meal preparation.

Gotta get used to it
A bit different than what I expected but not a bad thing. A little more flimsy than I thought it would be. Very easy to clean. Easy to use? For me it will be a learning experience to get full benefit since I often have two left hands when prepping food. I have a feeling that certain foods will work better with this unit than other foods. Since we are trying to eat more salads this should make it more convenient. Trying to find the right level of food to place for cutting and wonder if it might be better to slice similar foods together (cukes & onions e.g.) rather than lettuce, cukes, onions, peppers, etc. at the same time. Marked the durability as 3 stars since it is not as rigid as I expected. Perhaps being a little more flexible will make it more durable? Give it serious consideration for purchase!

This product in essence invented the wheel
What a wonderful easy-to-use product! Whereas in the past it took at least several minutes and several dishes to make a salad, frequently leaving several dirty dishes and messy counter, this bowl makes it possible to strain vegetables and cut them, as well as fruits and cheeses within a minute. It is as if the producers of this cutting bowl “invented the wheel.” How clever! One can use the EZ SALAD CUTTING BOWL without any big instruction; just put the selection of vegetable in the bowl, get a knife and make a few cuts, turn the top part of the bowl, cut again and whalla, you have the perfectly cut salad - ready to eat. It works every time. This bowl is a huge help for every family. The bowl itself is attractive, small and easy to clean and store, and there is now no need any longer to have more utensils that take up space and can be expensive.

Ridiculous Impulses
Ridiculous - chopped lettuces just fine... then I added a Roma tomato - guess what - tomatoes are ROUND ! - it bounded away from the knife - so I took it out, sliced a flat spot on it. Then it slid around... and around - made a real mess out of that tomato. My knife was sharp I thought ? Anyhow, I tried it on an impulse, and now I know. As I scored up the plastic base trying to cut the veggies, it's not returnable, so off to the thrift shop. It did do a good job on the greens, although they were soggy, and the counter was pretty wet...it's back to my trusty salad spinner. And off to a thrift with the "EZ Cutting Bowl" - I didn't find it easy. PS - To be fair, I tried it one more timeI made another try at using this, placing the larger veg, in the bowl first (cut in half) as suggested by the mfr. response to the first review, then the lettuce - the results were definitely not visually appealing. I don't really want to put it on the table Luckily, our dog likes lettuce... don't know how he feels about tomato & cucumber. I still don't recommend this item.

It really works!
My husband loves salads...would eat one every day. Problem is, I hate making salads! He saw a video of the EZ SALAD CUTTING BOWL on a app he was using. Anxious for me to see it, saying he could make his own salads with this wonderful tool, I was sold. The EZ BOWL is everything that was advertised. We have made several salads, but we haven’t tried fruit yet. I’m sure it will be just as effective. This is a great device, small enough to fit within a stack of bowls so it doesn’t take up space, and it’s super easy to clean.

Not worth the $$$ or trouble so small salad
The concept is cool but it’s so small that you can barely fit any salad ingredients and it’s only for a single person. And it was hard to move the bowl to do the second cut because everything is stuffed in there

So easy to use! Amazing product
It works perfectly well! Tbh, before buying this salad cutter bowl I read some of the good reviews here and also some of the bad ones since I had my doubts. But after using this product, I must say that the bad reviews here are not justified, at all. Furthermore, there is a very specific instructions paper that comes inside the salad bowl package, it personally helped me to operate it. I think that some people are just too lazy to read the instructions though. I'm already planning to buy few more of those as gifts for the holidays.
