Well-made, Easy to Assemble and Use
I'm an IT guy, so I've seen a few mounting options for monitors. The Atdec is a solid unit, easy to assemble, and when adjusted properly, very easy to maneuver and use. My application was to use it attached to a side table next to a chair -- a little unusual, but will work well for any bolt-through or clamp application. Assembly was easy with supplied tools and hardware. Took me about 30 minutes. The cable wrap was the hardest part (poor pictures). Pay particular attention to adjusting the unit for the weight of your monitor.Not mentioned in the Amazon description:- This unit supports up to 19.8 pounds.- Includes hardware for both VESA 100mm and 75mm mounts- Includes both drill-through and clamp (0.5 to 1.5 inch thick) mounts (NOTE: you need at least a 1.5" overhang for the clamp mount)- The base will pivot 180% (not 360%)There is a silver version as well.
