Rhinowalk Anti Sway Bikepacking Saddle Bag Stabilizer Mount with 2 Bottle Cage Mounting Holes

I love this thing. Had it on a few trips now and it's made such a huge difference to bag sway that I'll never be without it. Can be a bit fiddly to fit (my fat fingers don't help there), but once on it's rock solid. Not sure I'd like to fit bottle cages to it though. The flat ends where the cage fits point inwards so the bottle cage bolts would just tear your bag to bits. If they'd twisted those round 90 degrees and faced them backwards, or even a slight angle, it would have been fine. As is, I wouldn't trust it.It could also do with being a bit wider. It can be a tight squeeze with a big load. I guess I could bend it myself, but with it being aluminium I don't want to push it too far.All told though, I like it.

I have a 15L bag, and even half full, it wagged like a spaniels tail, especially on undulating terrain.This stopped all the side to side swaying immediately. I had to bend the arms out slightly, to accommodate the width of my bag, but only a touch.It fitted under the saddle rails very easily. Solid, and strong. I didn't buy the water bottle option, so can't comment on that.I have a fair few Rhinowalk products, and I've been impressed with everything so far, a very good budget bike accessory supplier.Overall, very pleased.

Just what I was looking for to stop the saddle bag sway, but design could be improved. The mounting was too short for my Brooks saddle requiring me to braze on extensions. As I tighten the mounting bolts the saddle bale sway bays tend to be bent in by the saddle frame. As a result I suspect that the bolts will work loose in use. A good idea, and if you are prepared for some fettling it's fine.

Used it to mount bottles , not bad but did start to bend on rough trails before snapping , wouldnt use on rought trails , road based riding or bikepacking yea great

Concept is great, execution woefully bad. The bracket that goes behind the saddle rails is too short to bridge the rails of a Selle SMP Well Gell saddle - not an unusual saddle design. Spent a couple of hours building the bracket up with weld and machining down to get it to fit. Once fitted the mount does stop my saddle bag from swaying. This is good. However when you fit bottle cages and even small 500ml bottles the bottles poke you in the bum when you’re on the saddle. No amount of bending of the mount can get the bottles to miss my bum. So great idea, maybe do a little pre-production testing before moving to sales next time.

Used this on my recent bikepacking trip doing the peaks 200 and it was spot on, I didn’t want to use a saddle bag as doing the rougher off road rides the sway and wobble of the saddle bag is very annoying but this bit of kit completely stops that and makes it very stable! And having two extra bottle cage points is brilliant I only needed to use one though. Would highly recommend it.

The packaging had been opened and sealed with celotape. Ill be returning as i do not want to pay first hand prices for second hand goods. Plus the stabilzer is not wide enough .

Does what I need it to do so I'm happy. Seems a bit overpriced but everything is these days. For what it is a fiver is what it should cost really. Oh well it works like I say.

I always used saddle bottle cages on my tri and bikepacking bikes. But with my new bike packing bag, it prevented the bottle cages from attaching. This was the perfect solution, The mount sits to the side and a bikepacking bag comfortably fits in between.

Ich baue mir aktuell mein Fahrrad auf für eine längere Europa Tour und da bin ich auf diesen Halter gestoßen. Man kann daran jegliche Dinge befestigen, bei mir wurden es testweise mal die Drinkflaschen. Der Haltet ist Stabil gebaut, es gibt alle Schrauben dazu und eine lesbare kleine Anleitung. Ist schnell montiert und trotz seiner Stabilität ist er auch nicht all zu schwer. Man kann ihn notfalls auch noch bedingt etwas auf biegen. Macht alles in allem einen soliden Eindruck!
