Excellent Choice for Budding Musicians - Pearl 32 Note Glockenspiel Kit
As a parent, finding the right musical instruments for your children can be a daunting task, but the Pearl 32 Note Glockenspiel Metallophone Bell Kit (PK910) has made this so much easier. This kit was recommended by my daughter's school for her band class, and we couldn't be happier with it.Firstly, the quality of the instrument is outstanding. The silver and black design is not only aesthetically pleasing but also durable and child-friendly. My daughter loves the clear, vibrant tones it produces, which has greatly enhanced her learning experience. The inclusion of both sticks and mallets is a thoughtful touch, offering versatility in play style. This is particularly beneficial as my daughter also plays the piano at a local music school, where they use the same bell kit. The consistency in instruments has undoubtedly helped in her musical journey, allowing for a seamless transition between her school band and music school. The practice pad included in the kit is a great addition, providing an excellent way for my daughter to practice her rhythms quietly at home. It's proven to be an invaluable tool for her to refine her skills without the loud volume of the metallophone. One of the standout features of this kit is the backpack carrying case. It's not only sturdy and protective but also makes transportation to and from school and music classes a breeze. My daughter can easily carry her instrument without any help, promoting a sense of independence and responsibility. In summary, the Pearl 32 Note Glockenspiel Metallophone Bell Kit is a fantastic choice for any young musician. It's an investment in your child's musical education that offers great value, quality, and an enjoyable learning experience. Highly recommended for its educational and practical merits.

Exactly what was needed for 6th grade band
This kit was exactly what my son needed for 6th grade band percussion. He is very happy with it. The only complaint I have from him is that the music stand piece is flimsy, there is no stopper to keep the bells on the stand (it seems like there should be a nut or bolt that was missing with ours), and when he had everything in the rolling bag it doesn't stand up very well if he wants to set it aside. It is top heavy and will fall over so he just lays the bag down on the ground. Other than those 3 minor complaints, he is very happy with it and the instrument does what it should do and sounds nice. It is a great starter piece and the price isn't bad for a young kid learning to play.

Very nice for the price
For less than the cost of renting a no-name kit from the band supplier, we bought this kit for our beginning band student. If she decides she likes band this will defiantly last until she upgrades in HS. If she decides band is not for her these will defiantly move in the second hand market on FB. Priced perfectly and good quality for a beginner.

Great kit!
This kit was purchased to replace the one that we had been renting. This one is better, hands down. This kit has the notes engraved on the bells, which is a huge help to a child learning to play. The kit we were renting did not have this, and we have found it made a huge difference for our child. Also the kit comes with a drum pad, which is pretty important if you want some peace and quiet, like ever. She can easily assemble/disassemble the unit with no problems. The only downside is that it's a little heavy and I have to help her lift it in and out of the car. But, she's 10, so that's expected. Overall, we are thrilled with this kit and would buy it again.

Cheap but good enough for an elementary school student
Pros:* a lot cheaper than renting an instrument for a year, so perfect for a child that is taking music lessons for a year in school* fair quality, with more features (e.g. wheels, which are a must have for many 4th - 6th graders) than less expensive sets* keys are all in tune, which was not the case with a cheaper set that we bought at first but returned* if it holds together for a year, it should be resellable to recoup half the costCons:* plastic frame, looks and feels inexpensive* modest quality won't inspire your child to fall in love with the instrument, but most kids won't know the differenceIf you don't expect your child to continue playing after a year or two of band class in school, this is a reasonable choice. Will update this review after a few months of use, if my view changes.

Excellent beginner set
Bought this a few months back. Works great. Not to impressed with the bell stand(seems a lil wobbly), but other than that, this is a great product.

PERFECT PERCUSSION KIT FOR STUDENTS
We purchased this kit for our son for his first year of band. It's excellent quality, and the exact same as the kits offered for rent at our local music store.
