A great fan that is quiet. Looks classic and traditional
We were looking for a five bladed fan that would be quiet and provide air circulation for a large solarium.Many the fans came with lanterns or lights that looked out of place and were not needed for our location.I was not familiar with this brand but on reading the reviews we took a chance.It was easy to install. It looks great. It is quiet and functions very nicely.The five blades look traditional and it is not modern or visually obtrusive in the solarium.Very pleased and extremely good value for the price

Great fan and MinkaAire has super customer service
We received the fan, which looks and works great. For installation we set the unopened box in the room and called an electrician to install with a bunch of other projects. When he was done, there was a scratch on the center metal piece. He said it came that way when we pointed it out. My husband emailed MinkaAire to purchase a new piece and they sent it at no charge. Great customer service. Fan is quiet, works great and looks as good as some we've paid twice as much for.

We're a little disappointed in the fact that this fan has only three speeds. We used to keep our old fan on 24/7 at the lowest speed (it has six speeds) but this one creates too much of a draft and we have to turn it off when it's cold in the house. Other than that, it is a nice fixture. It's quiet and we really like the longer blades.

Love this fan.
We have bought two of these fans for our home. Loved the simple lines of this fan and the fact that it did not have a light. The remote is easy to use. Cools down the room quickly. It is pretty quiet. We have one in our bedroom and we have no complaints about noise.

Best Investment I made in 2017 - Update - However...
Initial Review: I live in Texas. The fan was installed at 4pm. Prior to that my AC was running almost continuously. The fan is in the same room as the thermostat. My AC has turned on twice in 3 hours. Strong buy. The motor is silent but, the amount of breeze it generates creates a little noise. It is a happy noise to me...Update: A guest spilled a drink on the remote control so it died. There is no way to adjust the fan without the remote control. Why it doesn't have a chain, I don't know...

PAID TO HAVE IT INSTALLED, FAN DOES NOT WORK, NOW WAIT FOR UP TO 37 DAYS FOR REFUND
I hired an electrician to install the fan. The fan does not work. I paid the electrician $150 to install the fan and to take it back apart and put everything back into the box so I could return it.VERY DISAPOINTED !REFUND STATES: Estimated refund timing: Refund is issued within 30 days after we receive the item. Great looking and QUIET!
Great fan. This is my third Minka Aire fan. I think they are a better quality then the big box store fans that are available. the big box stores all seem to have the same fans with the same looking designs and I wanted something a little different. Thanks.
