Very impressive Excellent Value and Quality
Excellent, easy to understand instructions and VERY EASY INSTALLATION (with 2 people) but doable with only one. Outstanding quality materials. Understandably, the fabric, subject to weather, will be questionable over time but, initially it’s very well made and very out-doors y. Ours is the green/white stripe one.We had considered a permanent metal/wood awning to shade over our metal barn work area but the cost was excessive. Considered many of the assemble yourself fabric awning choices on Amazon and came across this ready-to-hang surprise. Wow! We needed to cover a 6’ door so 8x7 was perfect. Since this was going on a metal barn, we first installed a high grade 12x6x2 pressure treated board, cut to properly align with metal barn posts and firmly attach to the 3 aluminum supports in the barn. Then, using the two included mounting brackets, we opted for a bit heftier and bolts since we were now going through wood and metal but the hardware supplied is certainly sufficient for normal installations.There is no denying that a few dollars spent for a ready-to-hang model is the way to go unless you are a total DIYer. But for us old folks, this was the answer. Highly recommend with one reminder: read and follow the instructions.

Think things through and measure! Not a hard install!
When it arrived I was intimidated by the weight of the box. I planned on installing it myself & thought "No way". Turns out the cardboard box itself was heavily fortified and heavy. The instruction manual isn't very good but the reality is you only need to use 4 bolts to install the brackets, that's it. Be sure to measure measure measure & you'll be fine. Easy to lift to install. They say its a 2 person job but I did it myself with my 72 year old body.

It is possible to put it up by yourself, but I strongly encourage you to get someone to help. :-) Quite heavy, but works like a charm. We have enjoyed it greatly.

It turned out better than I expected
It turned out better than I expected, especially for the price! Not only looks great, but is easy to crank open, and crank back in.It took less than an hour to put it up (I did get a local handyman to put it up as was suggested in the instructions). I'm alsopleased with the quality.
