Great looking chair, but pretty small even for a 5'8" 150lb person
Your browser does not support HTML5 video. Beautiful looking chair, but have to return it, because it is the older, smaller model I was sent instead of the new upgraded model that was advertised. There are some other issues and the video review goes into the positve and negative of the chair more thoroughly. Sadly I did contact Kinsal, but were unable to rectify the situation and send me the correct, larger version, so I will be sending it back.

Avoid this chair, don't let the photos fool you
Several pieces came broken or deformed. The left elbow rest is bent outward and won't adjust up or down like the right one. Secondly the entire bottom surface of the chair where you sit isn't level. It's severely sloped forward giving a constant feeling of being dumped out of the chair. I thought this chair would be free of such novice $89 price range office chair problems, but apparently I was wrong and got ripped off for what LOOKS like a beautiful piece of office furniture that turns out to be total garbage. Also customer service requested that I returned this piece of junk to get a new one. News flash, in an effort to a good chair it comes pretty much preassembled. You just have to attach the wheels and bottom. That's it. So there's no feasible way to disassemble it and package it up to mail back to Amazon. What a joke.

Supreme discomfort
extremely uncomfortable. can't think of a chair I've ever purchased that feels this bad. the lack of front base chair tilt means, you literally have no support under your knees and find yourself slipping forward, even during office work. Additionally, the pillow head/neck rest is useless; it to slips (there them here) regardless how hard you tighten it. The Bungie band (with clips) lose their strength within a couple of months. So again, the lumbar pillow is USELESS.The side/thigh bolster is so rigid and lacks sufficient padding. In contrast, the arm rests are just laterally to flimsy and start slowly canting away from you. They also do not adjust horizontally. I failed by trying to save a few dollars, I should have purchased a higher end and better-reviewed chair.Buyer be ware.

So I have now had this chair for 6 months ...
DO NOT BUY THIS CHAIR!!!!!!! I have now had the chair 8 months and the hydraulics are ruined. It won't even stay up. The minute I sit in it it sinks to the floor. Biggest waste of money I Have ever seen. Don't believe the good reviews as they are obvious plants by the company.I WANT MY $200 DOLLARS BACK!!!!!!!!!So I have now had this chair for 6 months. I think that is an ample review period.1. Back seems lose and there seems to be no way to tighten it.2. Chair just decides once in awhile to lower itself.3. Knob on bottom for tightening and loosening now seems seized up. Can not turn it very far at all and it doesn't seem to loosen or tighten.I am 59 years old and weigh 185 pounds. I Have not been abusive to this chair in any way yet problems just keep arising. Chair is worth maybe $50 dollars.

It's a review to help you
Soooooooooo I was very skeptical about getting a new chair and it took me MONTHS to finally pick this one and here's why:- It looked like the $$ and was a lot less (I figured what the heck could be that much different in the $$ chair over this one? Would it matter? So what it had plastic over metal I weigh 175lbs and don't have kids to break it )- What did the chair do others didn't? I found it was a bit smaller and didn't have as many settings as other did ie. locking the recline mid way through or stopping it from turning. To me I didn't really care about that.- I wanted something I could sit on for hours ... this seemed like it was it.Hands down this chair is AMAZING. If you put this next to the $$ chair you might feel a ever slight difference in pivot, movement and squishness. The only one thing I don't like is the arms do not pull out so you need to push in close to your desk. Also, also to those people breaking the chairs (you can see in other comments). What the heck were they doing to bust a piston or break a arm? Far as I would think, YES if you weigh over 300+lbs it might have issues, remember it's not the $$ and is made of lesser materials. Also maybe don't be tough with it and bounce on it or let your kids play with it. But whom and I to say what may have happened, most leave out those details when posting.Hope you read this review, because I suck at writing and haven't written a review this long in a long time.

Low end racing chair
First off, to be fair this chair is cheaper than a lot of the other racing style office chairs, so if you're wanting to budget, it might be ok. I however returned mine right away.Right out of the box the faux leather on the headrest portion was torn. I figured damaged in shipping and I wanted to know what I thought of the chair so I went ahead and assembled it to see how I fit in it. I'm 6'3 and 240lbs and have a hard time getting comfortable as I'm rather fidgety. So once the chair is together I sat in it and adjusted the pillows several ways and personally I felt the seat cushion was too short, it didn't reach my knees. The headrest was tall enough with the pillow strapped all the way at the top, but I didn't find that very comfortable. As far as the wheels, they rolled well on hardwood floors and on the office mat I have under my desk. The arm rests were another issue though as they had issues holding my arms, they would snap down after I had adjusted them if I put too much weight on them and I found them to be a little thin and hard.In the end, probably fine if you need to spend less than $200 and really want a racing chair, but considering how many things went wrong with mine on day 1, I wouldn't expect it to have a long life span.
