Verbatim always satisfies, gold standard in burning everything from CDs to BRs. Through the 1000s of burns, I've never had a failed burn due to bad media - only occasionally before I learned not to put the next disk in immediately after one is done, and let the burner cool down for a few min.The only 100% reliable media in my years of experience. I tried to save a few bucks here and there with other otherwise reputable brands (no no-names) and decided it's not worth it, long time ago.

Well, what more can I say other than yes, these are exactly what they claim to be—50 shiny little discs that hold your data, your hopes, your dreams, and that embarrassing karaoke video you swore you'd never show anyone. Nothing more, nothing less. They’re like the introverted office worker of the tech world: they show up, do their job, don’t ask for attention, and quietly slip away to be filed under "works as advertised."Sure, I could wax poetic about the way a laser lovingly etches its mark into the delicate aluminum cookie sandwiched between layers of hard plastic, like a futuristic baker crafting the world's most useless Oreo. But let’s be real—you don’t care about that. You just want to know, “Will this hold my movie collection and/or questionable downloads?” And the answer is a resounding "Yes. Yes, it will."So, if you’re looking for something to store your memories, bad decisions, and maybe a few terabytes of legally questionable media, look no further. These discs will do it. They’re the unsung heroes of data storage, silently holding everything you treasure (or need to hide). Just don’t try to eat them. No matter how much I talk about cookies, they’re still plastic.

I got the 25gb 25 pack and have only had 1 disk end up not working (2 where due to user error). It wrote everything on there but during the verification process my writer/burner does it said either the disk was damaged or there was something wrong with a file that was put on there. Put another disk in and it worked just fine so I'm not sure if the one was due to the file, the writer, the disk or user error. But to only have one crap out out of 25 is really good considering a different brand I bought last year about 1/3 of them ended up not working. I'm not sure how long they will last yet but they work great for my purpose of backing up photos, videos, and documents! There is about 1.5gb you can't put on it which is a bummer so your only getting about 23.5 Max of storage which sucks but they do work?

For some reason what I received was actually 6X, not 16X, even though the manufacturer's number on the product itself corresponds with 16X media. The label says 6X, but the label product number is for 16X. Go figure. When I was sent a replacement it, too, was 6X. Amazon did me well and I kept the replacement 6X media (sent the original back) and have already used four discs, which wrote and worked perfectly, which is what I'm used to with Verbatim disc media.I hope that Amazon gets the discrepancy straightened out (6X vs 16X), but if I needed more BD-R discs I would buy it again, even knowing that 6X is what I might get. Whether 6X or 16X, Verbatim disc media has always been quality for me.One star off for the speed discrepancy, not the quality of the product.

I'm doing a ton of backups. And these will be my go-to disc. I like them. A while back, I tried out a cheaper brand and that was a mistake. At least 2 out of every 5 failed. But these Verbatim, I'm on my second 25 pack spindle and not one has failed! Good bang for your buck!

Good quality, no coasters. That's the most important thing. 100% good burn rate. Hint, never burn at top burn rate, always burn slower, regardless of PC's speed, software's recommendation. Slower is better in this case.
