Amazing device! Buy one if you can afford it.
Whats the Best thing you can buy if youre a wheelchair user that likes to stay active but have a hard time in the grass? This device right here! I love it so much. I dont use it a ton but when im camping or going out on a easy hiking trail this device is honestly the best. It makes going through bumps and grass 75 to 80 percent easier according to my shoulders and arms.

Love it! Put it on my wheelchair any time I go for a walk.
I love the freewheel. The freewheel is a 5th wheel that lifts the front caster wheels of a wheelchair. It keeps me from getting stuck in the grass or cracks in the sidewalk. It's also great for snow. It doesn't turn a wheelchair into a snow plow, but if someone has already shoveled it can make the difference between getting stuck and getting where you are going. It's kind of expensive, but worth every penny. Also great for attending weddings, picnics and other events in grassy fields!

Great for outdoor use
Saved a lot of trouble going over sidewalk bumps and onto lawns etc. Works only if someone assists with pushing. Heavy back mount makes the wheelchair more likely to tip over. As a paralized person, great product but only if you have able person's help.

Off pavement Weelchair
Excellent product, printed manual is worthless go to video and it’s much easier to understand. The problem with printed manual is the name of the parts, unless you know the name of the parts that the designer named himself I was puzzled. I’m simply not mechanical.

Missing parts
The build quality on the freewheel is great, but missing parts are a huge problem. I can understand not including the manual, but not including the necessary shims is absolutely ridiculous. From the pictures it shows that the shim needed for a clamp foot plate. If the shims are not going to be included then that needs to be clearly stated. Instead of being out using my freewheel I'm not stuck with a useless piece of equipment. Do better!

Easy
I like how easy it is to install onto my wheelchair. I also like how easy it is to push thru the grass.

Shoddy craftmanship produc for this pricey hard-to-install attachment
I had to contact their service guy to help me set up their FreeWheel properly. Their Youtube video and PDF manual was no help, because as we all know, each wheelchair is custom fit. After using their product lightly (neighborhood rides over soft gravel and dirt) I noticed the FreeWheel would tilt. And in addition, the FreeWheel would dislodge when I popped my front casters to quickly maneuver. This was never the case at the start.I checked the FreeWheel and saw the metal hooking bar (long rear end) was cracked. I called to replace item and question them about the tilt issue, I was told to hammer the clamp so it'll clamp tighter. Umm... that doesn't sound like a good long term solution.
