Bought the device to diagnose my used 2005 Honda Accord before going to the mechanics. And no surprise that this old champion would have issues here and there since the last owner has putted tons of miles on it. Had the code P0171 as diagnosis result after multiple attempts, results were pretty constant and has not gotten any other codes. I went online and did some studies on this code Google says it could mean that the fuel system is running weak or there's a vacuum leak, which neither one of them can be fixed with limited knowledge and tools by a newbie driver like myself. So I dropped the car off to a near by reputable mechanic, he said I got a clogged fuel filter that's impacting the fuel intake which could result in engine misfire, which also explains the random misfires I have with the car and I had it fixed by the mechanic. And since the old fuel filter was replaced, code P0171 has never showed up again and there's no misfire anymore, results do match up! Even thought I don't want any more trouble with the car, but still looking forward to learn more about car diagnosis with this device if there's any problem again.

You just need to put where the reader would plug into your car (OBD port). Then I can read the codes and choose to clear the codes after you read them which will likely turn off the Check Engine Soon light. It was too easy everyone can use this product.

Bought one for myself so went back to get one for dad. The price doubled. The one negative. You cannot find the link to update it. I contacted the manufacturer and she sent me a link to the software for updating. This needs to be put on their website. Will update review if any issues arise with mine or dad's.

Attempted various configurations to no avail. I have an older Ford and I could not get the GOOLOO OBD2 Scanner Code Reader for Check Engine Light Car Diagnostic Tool to give a proper code.

Doesn't do everything. But for the price. It's a good deal.
