Pass on this one...
This thing works one out of ten or so times, and then stops charging after 5 minutes or so.

didn't work
Product did not work properly. The flashlight never worked since purchased and the charger only worked for a short period of time. I did like the sturdy case and options they claimed but overall was a waste of my money since it did not perform.

This Solar Charger will BRIGHTEN your PHONE'S POWER CAPABILITIES!!
The Solar Charger exceeded my expectations. It came already charged, and it is quick to recharge when in direct sunlight, clouds, or even in the fluorescent light. It comes with a carabiner, which easily attaches to a bag for easy use. I felt this was quite an easy addition. The most practical way to charge this was to leave it in the car in direct sunlight for a few hours and come back. The charging port is located opposite of the flashlight, properly labeled "USB," and activated by pressing the power button once. The flashlight is practical and bright, activated by holding the power button. The instructions were not included in the packaging, so that's a bit of a negative. The Compass I also found to be a bit of an added accessory just to have an added accessory. My compass fell off after the first bump; however, who needs a compass if you're charging a cell phone with GPS capabilities?Overall, I'm giving it 5 stars based on its price, its performance, and its capabilities. The instructions not being included aren't that big of a deal, and losing a compass wasn't that big of a deal either. Perhaps not having a compass in the first place would be better, if it would take the price down on future editions.I kept this, and I suggest you do too!
