It is fully functional. I have used it with the ps4 included earbud and mic (US spec) with no issues. I have also used it with the Power A charging stand (sweet).

From what I've read, Sony announced that it will be coming to the U.S. along with other colors. For some reason it wasn't released along with the Wave Blue edition.
