After going through all steps to test the life jacket was fully functional, including replacing the non-working CO2 cartridge, I was unable to get the life jacket to inflate. If you choose to buy, please test thoroughly prior to using. This is manufactured in China and not USCG approved.

I bought this for our trip to the ocean. We used it to snorkel and it worked well. It kept us above water and I noticed that the snorkel company used the same type of vest. It stayed snug to us when attached. It's easy to inflate and deflate, and its color is vibrant. Easy to pack and travel with. We plan to use it on our boat next as it will be easy to put on as needed.

I really like this life jacket. Light, comfortable, well made, great price. It would be perfect if it was USCG approved, but alas it isn't. That lack of approval requires me to keep a USCG approved life jacket in the boat still even though I'm wearing an inflatable.

It says to practice using it, but it only has one air container, so you'd have to buy another once used??. its light for my kayak use. it fits right.
