Peet's CoffeeDark Roast Whole Bean Coffee - French Roast 18 Ounce Bag

I have definitely paid more for coffee, but then I decided to try this, and to my surprise, I'm hooked! And the beans are really fresh looking, with a kind of oiliness that is a good kind for coffee beans...and just really tasty! Of course, this is for each its own, but I'm happy to say, I found mine! :)

We love Peets dark roast coffee! Only trouble with buying it on Amazon, one time you'll get a product with an expiration date 6 months in the future, and the very next time you'll get a bag that expires in a week or two...like the last time :-( But...none the less, we love the coffee.

My favorite standard coffee beans (whole). I've been using them for years, never disappointed. Occasionally I buy a special blend but rarely it was better than Peet's. Always buy fresh, so look at the expiration date and the roasted day.As for value, nothing beats the Costco 2 lb bag.

This coffee has the best flavor! The beans are nice and oily, not dried out like some of the brands I've bought in the past. The flavor is nice and strong and tastes like coffee should taste. I like my coffee strong, bold and black and this is perfect

This is great coffee. Its my favorite actually. I buy these every month for both my home and for the office. And I will continue to buy it.It's just become a bit of a hassle because I have twice now received old coffee from this merchant.Last month's shipment was fine, it had a freshness date of 12/29/25.Yesterday they sent me 6 month old coffee with a freshness date of 06/29/25. It clearly sat around in the warehouse for six months before it was shipped out. And this is the SECOND time this has happened.Amazon is great about sending refunds. But I would prefer not to have to have this conversation repeatedly.
