StilGut iPad 10.5 Case, Leather Flip Cover with Stand Function and Auto Sleep Wake Feature for Apple iPad Pro 10.5 Inch, Red

I first ordered the Vintage Cognac and didn't like the rough leather. Then I ordered the Cognac Brown and it was a funky brown. Finally ordered the Midnight Blue and I like the color well enough. As to the quality of the case, it is top quality. I've always used the Apple leather cases (chocolate brown) but they are not available for the 10.5 iPad Pro. I thought I'd have to settle for this one but it is actually a better quality case than the Apple version. Very high quality leather with an exceptional feel. iPad fit is perfect. Access to controls is perfect. The only area where I'd give less than 5 stars is the magnet that turns off the iPad is not very strong. It does fine putting the iPad to sleep but doesn't hold the cover closed if held upside down. No biggie though. I slip this in my backpack everyday and it has been fine.

When I bought my iPad Pro 10.5 a month ago, I was so disappointed that Apple didn't sell the leather case that they had available for my iPad Air 2. I was forced to just buy the leather smart cover at the Apple Store, hoping I could find a case for the Pro 10.5 later online somewhere. I did find a few, some cheap, some pretty good but all of them didn't measure up to the Apple leather case I had on my Air 2, none in leather, and only a tiny fraction were of the auto wake/off variety. Well, finally, I found THIS ONE, quite by accident on a pop-up. I ordered the red and the blue, fingers crossed that I'd like it as much as the now not available Apple leather case. WOW. What a GREAT CASE!!! It's just like the case Apple used to make, only even more quality. THIS is the case you MUST have if you bought a new iPad Pro 10.5. It wakes and turns off the iPad upon opening/closing, it's quality, it's leather, it smells like leather, the cut outs just FIT. The case is easy to take off and put on and it's EXACTLY what I was looking for. At $80 dollars, it sells for what Apple used to sell their iPad leather cases for...and I think, after a few days, I like it even BETTER. If you REALLY want to spend a lot of money on a leather case for your iPad Pro 10.5, vajacases.com has a good one for almost THREE TIMES the price and it's a two piece, but very very nice nonetheless. However, if you were very happy with the 80 dollar leather smart case on your old iPad that Apple sold, then you will certainly be DELIGHTED with this one. I don't think Apple is planning on offering a leather smart case anytime soon, but now it doesn't matter. THIS ONE is PERFECT. BUY IT, it's fairly expensive, but so is your iPad Pro 10.5. I VERY HIGHLY recommend this over ALL ELSE.

I must say I was very hopeful after the glowing reviews, but I will be returning mine. I thought it was fantastic, if not slightly heavier than the full cover leather version which graced my last IPad and like the other reviewers, I wanted the same type of full leather case as I previously enjoyed. After I snapped it into place and started using, I kept feeling something sticking to my fingers. It was the edge of the case which was not fused down. It ran all around the entire thing, a flappy sticky, annoying feeling every time I opened the case or shifted from landscape to portrait mode. I thought about how I could possibly glue it myself and then, I admit it, I got irritated. I shouldn't have to do the job for them for an $80 case! It took me awhile to justify the cost As it was and I was fully prepared for a "sure thing." It wasn't. See pics.

I looked for a long time to find a case that I really liked for my new iPad. Like many out there, I was hoping to get the Apple leather smart case (covers the entire iPad instead of just the front), and didn't see it. After deliberating and reading a lot of reviews I purchased this one. About a month in, I can only say that not only did it meet my expectations but I like it BETTER than the Apple leather smartcase I had on my old iPad. Nice work, clean feel, solid construction. You can't go wrong with this purchase.

Pretty nice cover. The color is nice and rich. The smell is that of leather. It has a good grain pattern to it which I like. This particular version is like the leather of a saddle. It's a hard finish that feels moisture proof. The inside feels soft and supple but it also feels like the kind of material that really picks up dirt and lint. My only complaint about this case is the way the inside is mounted to the outside. It's single stitched and is not sealed. When the cover is folded backwards, you can feel the lip of the inner material. It's not a pleasant feels. It's more of a tacky feel. I tried to take a few pictures to show what I'm referring to. Overall, if you are looking for a good case, I do recommend this one. I'll try to come back in a few months to report on the long term durability of it.

The media could not be loaded. I just received this case today. The leather is very nice with this case and I love the white stitching that surrounds the edges. The fit is very snug and my iPad Pro 10.5" is tightly in place.Here's my concern with this case: I paid $80 for a case that I may have gotten elsewhere for half the cost. That's just fine if it were a case that was 100% working. I added a few pics and a video to show the main problem with this case which is the magnet. Although the magnet activates the screen fine, it's very weak so it tends to open up on it's own when the tablet is held at an angle where the front is facing partially or all the way down. I have other similar cases that cost a fraction of this one with much stronger magnets to hold it in place. I'm debating on returning this item. I may have recieved a defective one as well so I will contact Stilgut.

Having read some of the negative reviews, I was really concerned about this order. I find that that the flap stays attached to the screen when the iPad is facing downward (that seems to be the major concern of those who rated the product poorly). I am not sure if I was just lucky, but this is by far the best iPad case I could have possibly ordered. It is pricey, but really deservedly high-end.

Top quality product. Fits the iPad perfectly, and looks the part. May buy another one for my wife...!

I’ve been using it for only a month so far so it’s just first impressions. Lightweight and low-profile but sturdy, exactly what I was looking for. Cuts made precisely where the need to be. You can easily connect your IPad with the Apple keyboard without removing the case. In short, you can see (and feel) quality though I’d wait with the final verdict for a year or so. If it ages as gracefully as it’s quality suggests then five stars will be fully justified.

A really excellent quality iPad Pro genuine leather cover. The iPad cover is extremely well made and compliments the new iPad perfectly. It protects the iPad very well, yet it isn't clumsy or bulky. It is a very firm slim fit. Very, very well pleased.

Il prodotto è buono ma non ottimo, anche tenuto conto del suo prezzo elevato. Mi aspettavo un tipo di pelle morbida, mentre è alquanto ruvida. C'è qualche imperfezione nella copertina anteriore che non è completamente liscia ma presenta in un punto qualche rilievo. Peraltro la custodia aderisce perfettamente all'ipad, lasciando liberi con precisione i pulsanti e l'obiettivo della fotocamera. Puntualissimo, anche oltre le più rosee aspettative, il servizio di consegna di Amazon.
