This is the tool to buy!
Just bought this. Just got it delivered. Just used this for the first time 5 minutes ago and had to write a review.I just bought this to fix a flat on my road bike. I have gone through 4 normal tire levers. They have all snapped. I have 700c tires and for whatever reason my front tire is always just extra challenging to get off an put on. I have bent metal shims, and broken plastic tire levers. I have also popped tubes because that final wriggle to get the last bit of tire bead over the wheel is just so tough.Knowing my issues I was really hesitant to just buy another set of levers, so looked at quite a few options. When I saw that helped put the tire on as well as remove, it was a no brainer choice for me.Holy crap did this work really well! I will say that it is a little bit different than other levers, so takes a minute to figure out how to apply it to get the tire off. But once I did, it just took a little bit of force to get the first few inches of the tire free, then it was butter. It also was incredibly easy to put on. Literally just insert and pull the tire around. I have never replaced a tire this easily! I am really impressed.I was hesitant about three things:1 - durability: having gone through several other levers I wasn't sure if another plastic option would be suitable. However it seems pretty clear that this is robust. The plastic is thick in the right places. I'm not going to say it won't ever break, but I will say it doesn't appear to be easy to break.2 - single lever: all of the systems I have ever use have been 2 levers. One that holds to the spoke and one that pushes the tire off. I wasn't sure how this would work without the primary lever to hold that tire off of the wheel. However the mechanism that makes this work is great. No need for it.3 - too good to be true: when I watched the video I wasn't sure it would actually be that easy but it really is. Works great. One thing some people may not like is that it probably isn't something that can clip to a bike easily - however it is small enough to easily fit in an equipment bag.No hesitation to recommend this! It's awesome.

Best Lever Out There
I’ve never ran so fast to leave a 5-Star review. After fiddling around with other tire levers I’ve finally found one that someone new to cycling as an adult was able to change a tube in less time it takes to brew a cup of coffee. It’s very easy to use, functional, built with thick durable plastic so you can’t possibly break it on accident.I only needed to re-seat a tire so once you get it hooked into the rim it glides the tire into place. Don’t hesitate, buy one! It’ll be the last tire lever you’ll need.

Did the trick, just, but expensive
I've had a terrible time fitting the tires on my gravel bike (after a puncture - I use tubes) to the point of breaking tire levers.I ordered the tire Glider in desperation because, if I get a puncture while out riding, I would be stranded and unable to refit the tire.I tried the Glider and did manage to refit the tire although I still used liquid soap to help.Because everything has to be tubeless these days it makes it very difficult to remount the tire on today's rims.I don't know how many people have this issue but I have work on my bikes for decades and never had such trouble until recently.I would have given the Glider 5 star rating but I feel the price is excessive because of that.I work in the plastics industry and know the cost of molds and material and once things are running this should be a lot less expensive.

Works! Nice innovation to eliminate the struggles of mounting bicycle tires
I was in the middle of putting tire & tube back on a 700c/29er rim when this arrived. I can't say yet how good it is for tire removal, but that's not the hard part. Getting your tire back on the rim, that's the hard part. The Tyre Glider put my tire back on the rim MUCH more easily than using the usual plastic tire levers that we all carry. O.M.G. easy. As always when mounting tires, it is MUCH easier if you pay attention to keeping most of the bead that you're working on in the central depression or valley or channel of the rim. Watch a few YouTube videos and heed the advice on positioning your body and the tire & rim: the easy motion is forward and downward. Forward and downward. If you watch a demo video and they don't show the forward and downward motion, you are not watching the right demo video. Keep looking! Watch "John on a Bike" to see a guy struggle the first time. He also did a later review of the newer, red model of Tyre Glider. Watch "James Social Cycling" to see a guy using the tool backwards when he first mounts his tire. He then does it correctly at about the 4 minute mark, and he reluctantly admits that the Tyre Glider works well. Watch "Tom Stringer" to see a roadside repair of a flat tire, done by a fellow who knows how to do it right. Watch "Ride with Roy" for the inventor AND A NOOBIE demonstrating on some difficult tires. This gadget is a really, really good innovation for do-it-yourself bike maintenance. It is small enough and useful enough that it easily earns its place in your on-the-bike toolkit. I recommend the Tyre Glider highly.

Changing tire was much easier than readjusting brakes after!
I've never changed a bike tire before, but trying to get a quieter tire on my Jamis Hudson Sport cruiser for use on my bike trainer since it gets pretty loud at faster and harder levels. After watching the inventor and reviewers on youtube, it was as easy as they say and showed. My arthritic digits and wrists made short work of the entire process with this amazing tool. My tube was never in any danger either. I somehow got the brakes out of sorts, and the process of figuring that out took longer than the tire swap!! Tire swap was a 10 minute job, but getting the brakes back right was 30 odd minutes. Well worth the nominal charge IMHO.
