More juice than the factory/OEM battery
My Google Pixel 4 XL had poor battery capacity from the beginning. I had to charge the phone later in the day despite charging it full each night. Then this year it developed issues with random shutting off and not properly starting up with a question mark on the battery and apparent poor battery life. Was going to take it to a Google shop (UbreakIfix) under extended warranty but they wanted to factory reset the phone and keep it for a few days. So I bought this and replaced the battery myself because I did not want the hassle with the warranty repair. Note you have to heat around the edges of the back cover really well to melt the glue before it could be pulled off with some prying tool preferably with a sharp plastic edge to cut through the melted glue without marring the metal edges. Then you remove the two wire clips holding the lens cover cable and the battery cable separately. Make sure you mark the screws where they came from because any two screws may look alike but each one could be from different sides of the same wire clip or two different clips carrying a difference in thread size or length. Otherwise you could struggle to figure out which one goes where when seemingly correct screw was not fitting right. Old battery is typically glued in and takes some force to pull or scrap out from the grabbing glue on the bottom. Remove any excess glue ball once the old battery is out. This helps the new battery sit flush inside the chamber. After the replacement the new battery worked well. It lasts over a day and a half so that I no longer needed to charge it during the day if it is fully charged overnight. Quite a relief from the previous lame factory battery. Very happy with the new battery and the decision to do it myself. Had I gone with warranty repair, they would have put in a battery with the same capacity as the factory one meaning I could continue to struggle with a weak OEM battery. The extra tools included were useful in removing the back cover and screws. The little screw driver fits the screw head very well. But it is only weakly magnetic and therefore I struggled with falling screws since I did not have a stronger magnetic one which would fit. Good luck if you have to do the same.

Works great
I've had this installed for a month now and so far it has worked flawlessly. I don't care if it's actually 4500mah or 3700mah. My original phone battery would hardly hold a charge after 2 years. This new battery holds the charge much longer just like the original when it was new.I have no complaint about the battery but I do have a WARNING. Replacing the battery in a Google Pixel phone is VERY difficult. You will need a great gun or even a hot hair dryer will work. Truthfully, I couldn't even tell that the heat gun did any good because it is extremely difficult to take the back panel off the phone. I would highly suggest that you look on YouTube to see how to replace this battery and watch more than one video because some are very poorly done. One last thing to remember, the old battery is glued into the phone and you must work very hard to pull/pry it out while making sure not to bend or damage your phone.I am buying a second battery for my wife's phone as hers is starting to have the same symptoms as mine. Wish me luck on the replacement 😃

Wish there were instructions, other than watch a YouTube video.
I watched several videos, they are all pretty similiar. Used a blow dryer to heat up edging, and eventually using a pocket knife, was able to pry open the back of the phone. They need to give a description of what is provided ,and how to apply the adhesive, i just pulled the adhesive off the plastic backing, first one stretched out, then tangled up at the end - losing some of it - not able to use. The 2nd - I put on the phone first, the removed the plastic. The adhesive on the battery- was very strong and hard to pry off, videos make it look easy. I was afraid I'd break the phone, I heated it up- several times before being able to remove. It is unclear from videos, which screws need to be removed, I ended up only taking off 4, but some videos were removing almost all? I finally got it in, reattached - screwed in- and the phone did not turn on. So, I am not sure of a rating for battery life. The short amount of instructions given say, to charge for 20 mins - if it does not turn on. The battery indicator doesn't show charging, shows a ? mark, so I am very leary that this new batter resolved my issue "Unable to read battery meter". There was another customer that stated a new battery would fix that. Also, had unable to keep a charge, and phone only stayed on, if phone was plugged into an outlet. I'll give it a few days and hopefully the batter will charge up and my phone will be back to normal. Otherwise, the seller will be hearing from me.Update: Battery would not charge - phone would not turn on. When reaching out to Seller, all i got were the instructions repeated to me. They were friendly enough, but just said, you have to charge battery before turning on. Oh really ? - So, i replied back telling them again, that i have tried to charge it, etc, and amazon sent me a message- saying if the seller cannot assist, I can reach out to them for assistance. I have not heard from Seller, nor from Amazon. Looking for a way to contact amazon to move forward.

This lasts longer than the OEM battery
Advice: Use bits of rubbing alcohol around the battery before coming out. It saves a ton of time and damage.Update: I have purchased another for my fiance's 4 XL. Running strong. This fit perfectly and performs better than the original battery itself which I'm very grateful for. The only thing I would suggest marking is those three adhesive strips for the back end of the battery. There was nothing that told me this so I had to pull it back out to apply those three strips so the battery stays glued to the phone and is not loose. Otherwise this is a steal.Take a hair dryer go around the phone with the glove in your hand and get these sides fairly hot and get a very thin item that you can stick in between the phone and the adhesive to slowly go around the phone to break the adhesive apart. I was able to reuse my adhesive as well on the back of the phone
