I don't know how I survived before discovering the Gelocity. It is comfortable to hold and writes smoothly and boldly in an ink that is blacker than the blackest black times infinity. The other colors are equally as intense.If they could jam another teaspoon of ink into these, it would be great - but that is just a minor quibble.

These are literally some of the best pens. They write smooth and work perfect! I use them for journals, work and some art stuff! The durability on them is good they don’t break easy and the grip is perfect.

If you need a good quality pen look no further! These pens right so smooth and dry quickly. These will definitely be the pens I use from now on. These pens don’t clog or get spotty when writing. The color is also still very bold when it dries. If you’re in need of good pens then definitely take these into consideration!

I have both the original BIC gelocity 0.7mm ball pen and this "quick drying"(Q.D.) version of BIC gelocity 0.7mm gel pen. While my package has arrived today, I picked up one and compared it with an original version of BIC gelocity 0.7mm. I tested BIC Q.D. 0.5 mm / BIC Q.D. 0.7 mm / UNI Jetstream 0.7 mm gel pen / BIC original 0.7 mm gel pen.As the picture shows the lines drawn with Q.D. version are much thicker(with wider line width) than the original BIC gelocity and UNI Jetstream. It felt as if I am writing with a fountain pen rather than with a gel pen with Q.D. versions. The ink seems more watery than oily, and actually the color is not so dense. Because of the low viscosity, it is easy to write fast with Q.D. versions, but the thickness of each character was far greater than the original BIC gelocity. Actually, the Q.D. 0.5 mm version writed wider than original 0.7 mm version. And with Q.D. 0.7 mm BIC gelocity, the line width is almost 1 mm thick.You can see that the UNI Jet Stream 0.7 mm gel pens writes almost identical to original BIC 0.7 mm gelocity in line width.Thin or watery ink / less resistance during writing comparable to a fountain pen / less ink density / wider line width than original BIC gelocity gel pens or gel pens from other brands / variable drying time depending on the type of paperAlthough Q.D. means "quick drying" by itself, it took more than 2 minutes to dry the ink applied on a cardboard paper. So I think the trying time depends greatly on the surface of writing.While two ink (original vs. quick drying) types gave significant difference in writing, YOU should think over before making a decision to purchase one!

These pens are the only ones my wife will use. She says they write in all angles. They don't skip when held sideways when writting on the grocery list on our fridge. The ink flow is dark and easy to read. They are a little expensive but worth the extra expense. I buy the blue ink so she doesn't take mine.
