Excellent product. Really helps with back pain but start out with a test somewhere small to make sure you don't have a negative reaction. If it burns too much I got some mountain yew tip salve to calm it down. Recommend this product.

If you have a joint, muscle or any other type of pain, try this. It usually works after applying it after a few days of multiple applications. I’ve used it on my back, neck and shoulder pain with great success.If you use it on more sensitive areas (face, neck, etc.), you may want to reduce it down to 50/50 using distilled water. It will itch for a few minutes but will go away. Also, make sure your hands are clean and there’s no makeup or any other substance on your skin where applying it. Think my expectation of this purchase was unreasonable. It does help with pain management as a topical application. Better than other topical I've used, but not a magic bullet.

I bought both the 100% DMSO liquid and this 70% gel. I am quite surprised and impressed with this gel, in particular. Tried it on three entirely different applications and all showed positive results.1. My wife accidentally brushed the outside of her hand against a hot pan and had a slight burn that stung. Applied a small amount and the sting went away almost immediately.2. I am prone to having small sebaceous cysts on the back of my neck which show up for a month or so and then fade away. I had one that was roughly 1" tall x 1/2" wide and 1/4" deep and decided, what the heck - give it a try. In 20 minutes the cyst was gone! Not smaller - gone!3. I have a dark mole on the side of my face that has been there forever, so I tried it here, too. No, it did not go away, but amazingly it was lighter in color and is now about half as dark after putting some on it every few days.Yes, it can sting a bit when applied on the face and neck but not when we tested it on our arms or hands, and that stinging is minor and goes away in about a minute. Not really sure what it is doing or how it works, but it does in some of the cases I have tried!

Works great for me. No bad smell and easy to apply. Great product a relieves the pain in my shoulder fast.

I have purchase DSMO 99.9% from multiple sellers. I sometimes use it full strength and have had not unpleasant reactions. Use of this product resulted in an uncomfortable burning sensation unlike anything I've experienced prior. In addition, the affected area began to itch. I was scratching for 3 days. I decided to test on a different part of my body before requesting a refund and had the same result. I applied for a refund. The return label was not prepaid as I had expected. I decided to send it back at my own expense. As I was reviewing the return instructions I saw this: "We make no claims on use of this product and is sold a solvent we do not refund in full on any open/used product."The only ingredients listed on the label were DMSO and Carbomer. I have myself combined DMSO with Carbomer and not had a similar reaction. Carbomer (thickener) is acidic and should be neutralized to a skin-friendly pH. If not it may irritate the skin and cause itching.This may be a great product. Just know that if you are dissatisfied you have to return it at your own expense and will not get a full refund.

My husband has an issue where his cheeks get very red. This DMSO cream has toned it down and has really helped. We were recommended to use this brand by his neurologist. It’s excellent.

I had read a lot of anecdotal evidence that DMSO by itself is good for pain and inflammation. So, I decided to try it. I used this product for both my hand arthritis and my lower back pain, twice a day, every day for just over a week. I can say with 100% certainty that nothing good came from using this. On my lower back, all it did was give me bad skin rash. My hand skin did not react, but the DMSO also did not seem to have any effect on the arthritis. In all, I think this is a good product, and it is exactly as advertised. That's why I gave it 3 stars instead of 1. It may work for you, or it may not.
