Nice aero bars, especially for the money
This is the second pair of this type of bar I've bought. Sold by a diff company, but are the same bars. The first ones didn't survive a crash (not their fault). Much cheaper than the name brands or even some unknown other brands. Work just as well, gives me another position when riding long distances, and relieves wrist pain from riding on the hoods of my gravel bike bars.

Inexpensive way to try aero bars
I purchased these aero bars so that I could have an additional riding position on longer rides. I'm not sure that I'm going to leave them on though because so far I haven't been able to ride on them for more than a minute or two at a time. Part of that is my lack of comfort with the reduced control from riding on them. Part of it is that the position isn't particularly comfortable to me. Having said that, I'm not sure whether that last issue is really the fault of the bars: it may very well be my fit on the bike as well.As far as the bars themselves, they're pretty easy to install. Installation issues really centered around what to do with other stuff mounted on my handlebars. My Knog bell was moved up to the aerobars, utilizing the shims that came with the bars themselves (intended I believe for thinner handlebars). My computer was a little more of a problem. It could nestle between the bars, but then I couldn't actually take the computer on/off the bike because I couldn't rotate the computer. So I ended up 3D-printing an extended mount for it. (3D printers are great!) That works, but the viewing angle, being back further on the bike isn't quite as good. It's only an inch or two but I notice it.The bars are simple, but I'm not sure how complicated they really need to be. The arm rest pads are attached with hook-and-loop, which makes it easy to switch the pads to one of the two position options. I saw another set of bars where the pads were attached with double-stick tape, which seems like a less elegant option. The bars and the arm rests seem well-constructed.It should be obvious that I'm not doing this as some sort of competitive cyclist, but the bars weighed in at right around 1 pound (about 450 grams). Maybe the extra pound on my bike will help me lose a pound off from me?So I'm giving these 4 starts mostly because I don't feel like they're a good fit for me but I don't know whether that is really due to the design of the bars, the size of the bike's frame relative to my frame, my lack of experience, or my expectations. But for the price, they may be worth a shot to see if they work for you.

Simple flaw ruins potentially good kit
Like others have said, the holes in the arm cup are drilled in-line with the curve of the cup. This places the curve at 90° to the direction of your arms if you try to use both holes to mount it to the bracket. One option is to use only 1 hole, but this is really unstable & the cup comes loose. If the holes in the bracket were countersunk like those in the cup, that would help, but these aren't.Another option is to drill your own hole 90° next to one or the other holes (across the curve) so you can use both mounting holes through the cup into the bracket.A really basic design flaw that has an easy fix would make this at least a 4-star kit. Given that, 3 stars may be generous.

Gain in speed
Installed them on a Schwinn mountain bike, to learn how to ride with bars. The bars will change your position on the bike. More or less you need to learn how to steer the bike again. Try first with one hand, and then use your both hands. Did about 100 miles, but still working on learning how to ride the bars.It seems that they are only effective at higher speed.A good product to train for a real TT or triathlon bike, but they won't transform your bike in a racing one. Still, they added 2-3 miles to the max speed.

AVOID THIS CHEAP PIECE OF CRAP!!!
If you could give less than a 1 star review, I would. Listen to the other reviews. This product crap. Pieces are not machined properly and don't line up. When you get them to align properly, you aren't able to tighten them. Just falls out of nowhere when you think its tight enough. Arm rests spin around because they do not provide enough screws to keep it in place. Never even got to ride with them on. Absolutely worthless. Spend your money on something with better reviews.
