Easy ploye, but does not duplicate New Brunswick's ploye...does the cast iron skillet really make the difference?

This is a fantastic item. With fruit, maple and whipped cream, or just a little butter with creton, or to dip in soup. This is a great Acadian dish.

Does not taste like what my Grandmother made back in the day She was from Maine . So it should be at least close. Not so much !

Just like mom used to make!
