Destiny 2 - Xbox One Collector's Edition

As a collector, I was surprised by how big this box actually was. Although a little disappointed by the tears in the Collector's box itself, it isn't a deal breaker since it won't be on display. Another surprise - the game itself hadn't been opened and the DLC codes were intact. WOW! It's as if someone opened the box, checked the contents, then said "Eh, not what I was hoping for".Anyway, all content came as advertised. The centerpiece of the collection is the canvas and leather(?) bag; it is actually a useful item. There is quality craftsmanship and I think it looks amazing. It definitely is not of cheap material like the Fallout 76 duffel bag, it puts that to shame. The solar charger is interesting and I'll test it to see how well it works; it comes packaged with some paracord and a thermal blanket. The steelbook is flawless and the other items will go into my game room's display cabinet.An excellent deal and if you can score one at an acceptable price, then I would highly recommend it.

The backpack is so worth it. I use it all the time, very awesome quality and so many useful pockets. I've even used the solar panel. I highly recommend getting it when it's on a sale. Totally worth $100. The game was okay.

As a complete package it's pretty sweet, however I wish it included more collectables, I guess. The bag is amazing and super well designed (easily worth over $100 on it's own). I think what this is really missing is some sort of guardian action figure, and it probably should have included the official game guide booklet and/or a longer booklet of concept artwork. As a complete set it's probably worth the money if you love Destiny like I do, but to me it falls a little short because it doesn't really have a sweet collector's item that you can put on a shelf and admire. With that being said, this collector's edition is uniquely practical because of the bag. I use it every day, and it is really well designed and durable. The game itself is incredible also, but that's probably not why you're reading this review.

After being a Destiny 1 megafan, buying the Collector's Edition was almost without question to me. However, after not even playing it until a year after I got it (release date) and finding out just how big of a piece of crap Destiny 2 turned into, this is quite possibly the worst financial decision I have ever made and one of my biggest regrets ever. It's gonna take a long time to live this one down.

One of the most overpriced CE I have bought in the last year's.The bag is super well done but is not worth the 150 dollar difference between the limited and CE the rest of the items u can find them for around 10 bucks.The game in the other hand its a very good improvement compared to destiny 1.

I got this for the messenger bag (and of course, the game) and the quality is fantastic. I really enjoyed the game too. The solar charger thing was kind of dumb though, and made this completely overpriced. It's shaped awkwardly and doesn't even work as a display piece. The other collectibles are just paper filler. If I could have given a half star, I would have done 3.5/5 because I really do love the bag and enjoyed the game thoroughly, but this was a pretty expensive CE and I just feel like some of the stuff was filler to drive up the price.

Despite it looking like an xbox one console box, there is NO console in this set. It is for collector items for the game itself and digital content only. The description doesn't mention console not included, so I will. This box is the size of a console box and to anyone else you might think you are getting a collectors xbox one console such as the gears of war, or forza editions but you are not. This is $250 for a game, expansion pass, a solar charging unit, and other physical items and premium digital content. Don't be fooled by the shape of the box!However, the items included are pretty amazing. The solar powered charging unit with dustproof box is gonna be great for camping, festivals, etc. The tokens are odd but unique not much use for them though. The messenger bag is great quality and amazing detail. Would have been nice to include a gamers guide and a sweet figure of some sort, but oh well.$250 is mostly for the solar powered charger, messenger bag, game and expansion pack. Not going to rate the premium bonus content such as the legendary sword etc because those may be available to all players down the line like they did with their preorder expansion perks with Destiny 1.

Loved Destiny and its sequel is no different. I play when I can as I have a family but I'm glad I was able to pick this up last minute when I did. I proudly carry the bag in public and have gotten several compliments on it as it is well put together and useful.
