Wholesome Romance
There's something extremely satisfying when reading a good romance. 'Wholesome' springs to mind because it's just a lovely read that ticks all the boxes, endearing characters, the excitement and doubt that comes with love. I really enjoyed every part of the story.

Such a fun read
Was Eloise the most unlucky person you've ever met? Yes, but it was fun to read. I loved Lo and Jakes back and forth lots of cute and funny moments. Steve was a great side character 😂 I'm not sure if Liam was written as a neurodivergent character, but he came across that way to me, and I loved him 👌🏼 Can't wait to read the rest of the series 🥰

Predictable and shallow
I loved the idea, but was disappointed by the lack of backstory details. The main characters and their romance were well fleshed out, but what about the house renovations? I had expected the house renovations (and maybe other people) to be a significanter part of the story instead of a convenient backdrop. I was mistaken. I love a good story. This just wasn't it.

Brilliant and funny book
I LOVED this story, it was entertaining and funny and kept me gripped. I found the story line to have enough depth that I could get lost in the characters. Loved it!

Happy, uplifting read.
I might be moving to Oakley Island myself! I love the charming characters. The story is witty and clever and I love how the characters grow as the story progresses.
