Good not great, adequate but will switch to another brand when in larger size. **updated**
I used bambo nature for my last baby. He was 9 lb 5 oz at birth and was over 10 lbs within the first week. And short so he had these football player thighs. Anyways, liked the performance of bambo, but their newborn size runs so large he had to wait several weeks before even fitting into them! I used pampers swadddlers from the hospital but they gave him a horrible bleeding rash and smell very perfumed. So, I bought these to try them out.Pros: fits smaller babies despite being a natural diaper. A lot of natural non toxic diapers I looked up seemed to run large for newborns. My newborn was 7 lbs 6 oz when we left the hospital and they fit him just fine (slightly loose in waist)-they have double gussets-are very healthy and non toxic in the natural diaper spectrum and so far no diaper rash or anything (more than just a chlorine free diaper)-no perfume smell, actually no smell at all which is a plus- blowout protection has been fairly good so far....yes there have been a few leaks but this kid is really odd about direction of how he poops so I understand where leakage can come from not necessarily the diaper fault.Cons:-having a hard time getting past this aspect the most......they are so rough and stiff and scratchy....some people mentioned it in reviews, but many said they were soft. The insides are soft but the outside has one of the most construction paper rough, unpleasant textures I have ever encountered.- in order to get the diaper to contour appropriately, the gusset elastic I find really traps his legs and leaves lines-due to stiffness and wide tape section across front, we found this difficult to turn over for umbilical cord and when it was turned over, it made a big wet area from the inside of the diaper. You can't turn the outside inward because the exterior is so incredibly rough, it would scrub the baby's skin off. His cord fell off in six days luckily so we haven't had to deal with this issue long term.-surprisingly this diaper seems to have a harder time deali with pee, diapers than poop ones. They absorb just fine and all that, but sometimes the outside is damp or something is wicking thru. I've never had that happen with a diaper before. Also, if you have any liquids, wipes, damp surface, your diaper is trashed unless you dry it out because the paper outside gets soaked and it is basically like wet paper even if the inside is dry (which then transfers to the sleepers).I'm trying out a package of Andy pandy newborn size next since he is now in the mid 8 lb range. If those don't work, looks like I'll be heading back to bambo nature as soon as this little guy gets in the weight range, which will be soon it seems.Update 02/08/2016: I wanted to add, I switched to Andy pandy and LOVE THEM. Much superior diaper though it is more expensive. I discovered these diapers caused my baby to have generally red skin on his bottom and grown area wherever diaper was (maybe from corn/and possible wheat used in diaper?). When he wears Andy pandy, just pink baby skin now. Definitely will not be reordering this brand of diaper in future unless The only choice I had was between toxic conventional diapers or these. That being said if you do like these, be assured they are really excellent in keeping in newborn breastfed poop. In almost a month, there have been only maybe two or three minor minor leaks. As for pee, it does seem to cause the diaper to feel generally slightly damp on the exterior.

Best diaper ever
Best diaper ever!! First off, my husband and I debated between cloth and disposable diapers. When we found out we could get biodegradable disposable diapers, we were sold. After reading mixed reviews for all of them, I decided to buy packages of each; Andy Pandy, Bamboo Nature and Nature by Naty. All of the diapers have good absorbency, although our daughter is still a newborn, so I can't comment on how the absorbency will be with a bigger infant, and all of them are very gentle on her skin, no rashes. They all tend to run a little on the big side too but not terrible. After having used them all my favorite is Andy Pandy. Here's why: they are soft, very absorbent, and I love the wetness indicator strip. I never thought the indicator strip would be a big deal but it's a huge help, especially in the middle of the night when you are trying to get by with minimal stimulation, hoping your little one will go back to sleep ASAP. 5 stars for Andy Pandy. That being said, Naty and Bamboo Nature get 4 stars. Bamboo Nature is probably a little softer than Andy Pandy but they don't have an indicator strip and for some reason, I just don't like them as much as Andy Pandy. Lastly, Bamboo Nature is a little rough. The material is almost papery and not very soft. It never seemed to bother my daughter but why use them when there are better options available. They also don't have an indicator strip. Hope this helps!

Naty diapers need some work to be good
The best thing about Naty diapers is the price. It's less expensive per diaper than some of the other natural diapers out there. So I really wanted to like these diapers.I really had high hopes for the Naty diaper, despite the poor name. I mean really? You name your diapers after a mediocre 90s hip-hop band? I guess it's better than 2-Live Poo.We bought the newborn size as we have been experimenting with various natural/biodegradable products and the first problem is the fit. There is no taper between the legs at all and so really, this diaper is much too big for a newborn. The absorbent part is about 3 or 4 inches wide between the legs. That doesn't make sense.Second issue is the softness. Other biodegradable diapers are much softer. The Naty diapers feel more like an industrial paper towel. Not what I want on my baby's butt!Third issue is the tape. It doesn't stick well when you are balling the diaper up to dispose of it. So they open up in the trash and increase the mess factor. Finally, they don't have the pee pee line--you know, the one that turns from yellow to blue when the baby pees. It's a nice convenience. If you want a much better diaper, I recommend the Andy Pandy diapers. They are great but they were out of stock so we tried Naty. Our Andy Pandy's arrived today and I'm excited. We will keep the Naty diapers since they're not terrible and wait until our girl grows into them. I think probably these are best for a 15 pound baby or more.

Good but not for night time sleep
Overall it’s good. We’ve had a few instances of poo exploding out of the back. Absobancy is good but not the best for use through the night . You need a night time change otherwise if your baby poops in the night it will leak out of the sidesOther thing to note is that it’s only as environmentally friendly as the infrastructure allows. My local council doesn’t take these in the composting or Garden waste bin

The best natural diaper out there, but does need to be changed frequently.
I am absolutely in love with the fact that these hold their "natural" and "healthy" promise! Baby was alternating between these and Earth's Best for 3 weeks and the latter gave him the nastiest rash on his bum, and inner thighs. I liked the latter because they never leaked which Natys sometimes do, but for the fact that they left my baby's skin raw I am EXCLUSIVELY using Naty now and changing him every three hours and about twice at night. When they fill you can see the color of the poop and pee on the outside of the diaper although it stays dry and so far I have not had any flaps tear off or anything, just leaks if left on too long and yes the outside of the diaper is rough but the inside is fine and they don't get all poofy even when full. Baby's rash is clearing up since we decided to only use these and I am so relieved!
