Love this biorb fish tankIt is the largest one that Amazon sellsIt is beautifulThe only problem I found was that the disc filter built into the tank is exactly the same size as the smaller tanksThis has created major challenges and upkeep to keepThe tank clean and the fish in pristine conditionI had to buy an external cartridge filter by tetra which has solved my problemIt is wrong to sell this large biorb tank with the same size built in filter as the othersAlso the pump is so tiny cheap and very weak so I also had to buy a much stronger pump to aerate the water and the bubbles actually circulate the water via the built in little filterBut the pump and the filter are definitely not adequate for the largest biorb tankThis is ridiculousEven so I love my biorb and my fish are now nearly 3 years old and have grown triple in sizePlease see video how beautiful this tank isThank you

GREAT, beautiful, easy to set up fish tank. Had to search for the proper stand to support the large size/weight (the stand sold on Amazon is only for the smaller sizes of the biorb classic). The tank is gorgeous. Everyone in the house loves to see it.

This tank is indeed very unique and beautiful. We upgraded our betta's old tank to this one.Cons: like other people have mentioned, the pump jumps around and can be very loud. We placed it on a folded washcloth and that did the trick. Although one bag of media was included, the recommended second bag helped hide the plastic center filter. So I would suggest picking one of those up in addition. The decor is very pretty. We went with the mushroom sculpture but it didn't come with the tube hole on the bottom. Seems like it got missed so we had to use a dremel to cut and opening so the tube could slide through. For $40 dollars, this was a bit frustrating.Pros: you just can't beat the look of these. Absolutely a statement piece. The set up was easy and quick. I appreciate the fact that you can buy and replace parts separately. The lights are fun.*we just got this in yesterday and we are cycling it now. We haven't had experience with cleaning it yet so can not comment on what that looks like. We also have out our betta in yet. Others have said the water flow may be too hard for our little guy. So we will see how he does.Overall this is just a stunning tank and we are pleased with it.

First let me say that the aquarium looks great. We purchased the largest biOrn Classic and it’s enormous, but we have gotten a lot of compliments and it suits the fish. We have had the aquarium for about six weeks now and it has worked as advertised. As long as you follow the instructions the water remains clear. The first water replacement was a little laborious due to the fact that the replacement water is to be treated for 24 hours. I had to treat the water in two five gallon buckets and used a third to exchange the water using the biOrb water siphon. Took a little planning but was manageable with one person. Tank had gotten a little cloudy after four weeks and the water change and filter replacement cleared everything up. Very satisfied overall. Also, really like the mcr lighting. We use the different colors as a way to keep track of whether the fish was fed and it looks pretty cool at night all lit up.

The media could not be loaded. Keeping my fish happy and alive, you will need to change the filter pretty regularly. I added a second filter to alleviate the stress on the main filter.

I’m a bit disappointed with this fish tank. The tubing is a pain in the rear, and because of that I can hear the vibration of the air battery. The lid does not latch on and for $10-15 more I wish I would have gotten the other option that had the air tube on the bottom and the color changing lights with hatch lid.

Got the 16gal white. Overall it looks and fancy for its oval shape. Came with small scratches but customer service provide me with a partial refund

Recurved in the mail yesterday. Light source does not work. Blinks on once when turned on then goes out.

I really like The biorb tank and accessories. The light, though doesn’t work — only tsk sporadically. Seems to be the switch. No ability, it seems to do anything but return the whole thing, which I don’t want to do.

It's a living piece of art. It has a really cool magnifying effect that makes everything look bigger. It comes wrapped with a plastic for a reason, don't remove it until your fish tank is full and ready to use, this thing gets scratches just looking at it, same thing when you place rocks or decoration inside, try to be extra careful to avoid scratching the aquarium. If you scratch it there's a product named Novus that fix light scratches fairly easy.Although I love the light that comes with it with the different color tones, I'm not crazy about the design, the light is not fixed to the lid so every time you have to access your aquarium, especially in the beginning when you're cycling your tank, it becomes a pain in the butt since both the light and the lid are together but not attached to each other therefore the light keeps falling out the lid unless you're really careful. Overall it was a nice purchase
