Disney Cars Quick Changers Oil Rig Ambush Playset

My son loves this toy. He was wanting a 'finn that pulls out the guns' and this was the only one I could find. I didn't think he'd play with the oil rig playset very much, but he loves it! It was a little difficult to put together and needs superglue to keep all the parts connected (my son drags it around the house all day) Other than that it's such a fun little playset for all of his cars.

Ok so I was weary about purchasing this item because of all the negative reviews but I took a chance because it's one of the least expensive Disney Cars raceways and I am so glad I did. Now I took to mind that when assembling to go back and apply plenty of super glue to any structural parts of this garage. My 3 year old has been playing with it for a week and it has not fallen apart yet.I would have given this toy 5 stars because of so many cool features (like the rotating missile launcher, a pulley that pulls up cars, a trap door, a secret wreck spot on the top floor, and it has 3 stories of really cool features) but since it needed super glue I took away one star.My 3 year old loves this set. He's a huge Disney cars fan and they don't fit on other track sizes like hot wheels. This is really inexpensive compared to other disney sets. He loves all the features and figured out pretty easily how to work them all on his own.The cherry on top is the Finn car it comes with is also really cool. He's a pretty light plastic but when you push the button his missiles pop out and his eyes change. It works really well and my son has no problems "transforming" him.We really love this toy but I can't state enough to have super glue in hand during assembly or you might be super frustrated like the other reviewers. This was a great buy! Love the Finn car that comes with it, the push button pop out missel is awesome!!!Sometimes a piece or two falls off the rig but easy to reassemble. With gentle play this doesn't happen but my 4 yr old twins are a bit rougher! Great toy !

Overall, it's relatively easy to put together (as an adult), but children under the age of 5 will have difficulty putting the pieces back together. It's fairly unstable when children start playing with it, and once the legs come apart, most children will be too impatient to put it back together correctly. If my 3 year old son initiates a "chase scene", at least a few pieces will require re-setting, and he's not able to align the legs and pieces by himself.Pros:-Looks and works as described-Very detailed and fun for kidsCons:-Younger kids will have difficulty putting the pieces back together

I am very disappointed with the over-all construction and strength of this toy. The missile launcher lasted one day. The red poles continually fall out. The runway supports will not stay in the slots which makes the whole thing fall over very easily. The flip out part of the ramp keeps falling off and now it won't flip out at all!! We've only had this toy for a week and it's basically trash. I am disgusted with it.The whole idea is great, but the materials and construction are very weak and extremely inefficient. My kids have not been rough with this toy...they just wanted to play with it. It's all so disappointing.

Totally agree with previous reviewer that this toy is fabulous but flimsy. You spend as much time putting it back together as you do playing with it. The track is in 4 pieces and each piece falls off regularly. There are 4 legs and they do NOT lock into place, so off they go. My grandson loves playing with it, but he's already very frustrated with it. Called it JUNK and he's only 4! The directions are pictures and useless, tho my daughter-in-law has put together enough toys like this, she figured it out. But, really, Mattel, for $16 worth of plastic, after about a hundred years of expertience in making toys, haven't you figured out (a) how to make a toy that stays together and (b) how to make a toy that doesn't frustrate a kid (and his parents) in less than 12 hours? This toy gets 2 stars because my grandson likes it and it's imaginative, but even that's a stretch because it's pretty much junk. Pieces will get lost quickly and it'll only take one piece for it to be useless. I wouldn't recommend that anybody buy this toy.

A toy that my son was searching for a while and not very easy to find. The toy was in great mint condition and as described. Shipment arrived earlier than estimated. Recommended seller! Thanks a lot!
