I have sensitive/rash/acne prone/dry skin and this cleanser is great. Does not irritate, removes makeup, not drying, pleasant non-smell. It is rather pricey but you only need a very little and really lathers well. The main downside: the tube is unfreakingbelievably hard to squeeze the stuff out. Maybe they want to encourage you to use sparingly and get only the bead-sized amount necessary out but it really ended up creating dread factor every day when I used it. So I decided to do all the work up front and squeeze the whole thing out into a softer travel squeeze bottle and tossed the original tube with relish. What a pain.

I was looking for a replacement/supplement for my Curology cleanser because I always go through it faster than my treatment lotion. This product is not a similar texture to the Curology cleanser, but it has a similar effect on my skin which I’m happy about. Honestly I like it a bit better. It cleanses really well and is not drying. But it’s not overly moisturizing either (a lot of hydrating cleansers feel waxy, yuck!). This one is just right. My skin feels really clean and balanced afterwards and looks soft and glowy. I use it twice a day: by itself in the morning and at night I do a precleanse/makeup removal with the Hada Labo cleansing oil first, rinse that off, then wash with the Aveeno. I have combination skin, with normal to dry skin on my cheeks, jaw and neck, but I get very very oily on my forehead, temples, nose and chin. I’ve noticed that my oil production has balanced out a lot since using this. My face doesn’t get nearly as shiny anymore during the day. It just feels nice and comfortable. Im really happy with this :)

The product doesn’t have beads in it which is great for sensitive skin. I had a terrible flaking problem on my face about a week ago and I tried this cleanser. I don’t use this everyday although you’re supposed to wash your face everyday. It’s a gentle cleanse on the face and I’m happy with my purchase. I use this in the shower most of the time and my face actually appears 100x less red coming out of the shower. I have no idea how or why my face looks so nice now because I struggled with red skin. To me this product doesn’t really help with acne but it helps moisturize and calm my face from redness. Overall this product is great for sensitive red flaking skin. May not help all of the way with your skin problems but it’s the best drugstore cleanser I’ve ever tried (I use a gel for my acne that my dermatologist prescribed me)

I have been using this face wash for about two months. For context, I'm a 24 year old female and have chronically dry, acne prone, red, sensitive skin. I have tried many face washes over the years. This face wash is a definite winner! It does not irritate my skin, the scent is very mild, and it definitely cleans the skin. I have noticed a major difference in my skin being less red and way less acne. I have given it four stars because I don't think this face cleanser really helps to hydrate my skin, I definitely still have to use a bit of moisturizer and serum after washing my face. However, this face wash does a great job at reducing redness and acne and the price definitely can't be beat!

I've been using this gentle gel cleanser for little over a week as part of my nightly double cleanse along with Hada Labo oil cleanser and as part of my morning skin care regimen. The consistent use has been going good for my very sensitive skin. I really like this is for real fragrence free product. A little goes a long way and it can take makeup off on its own without the oil cleans. My face feels smooth, cool and not irritated at all. As most gel cleansers I have tried have fragrance, leave a tight feeling afterwards and Dry patches this has not and has not flared up my rosacea while using this cleanser either. Skin is less red and actually calmer. Aveeno ultra calming gel cleanser does what it says and can be great for people who suffer from sensitive rosacea affected skin. I highly recommend and will most likely repurchase.

I have rosacea and I use this and the hydrate+protect sunscreen (50 spf) and it is the only thing that makes my skin feel soft and healthy. It cleans without the dryness, and feels moisturized and calming at the same time. I have spent years and 100's of dollars on other products and this one tops them all. It is inexpensive and a must for me. The scent is light and pleasant.Would recommend to anyone looking for an inexpensive yet affordable product that works.

I bought this product while searching for inexpensive but good products to use for dry skin especially for the winter. I like the idea of a gel cleasner over creams as sometimes cream cleansers for dry skin end up feeling greasy, leave a greasy film on my face, and clog my pores. A gel cleanser is less likely to do this, thus why I bought this product. I have used it a few weeks now along with a few new products, and I do say that the cleanser helped with the dry skin I was dealing with, however, I noticed that after washing my face on days I wear makeup when drying my face on a towel, I saw visible traces of makeup even after rinsing. It was a lot worse with cream cleansers, in that it didn't fully cleanse my skin, and I hoped that using a get would end that. Unfortunately and apparently it didn't. When I used a cotton ball to tone my face, the cotton ball still had makeup on it too, So, while it does help with dry skin, I don't feel it properly cleans the skin enough to remove all traces of makeup, which if left on skin could result in breakouts. I'm not saying this is a horrible product-it's not, I just wish that it cleansed a bit better than it seems to do.
