Compact, Powerful, and Reliable
This RYOBI impact driver exceeded my expectations! It's compact yet packs serious torque—perfect for driving screws and bolts with ease. The ergonomic grip feels great, and it fits right into the ONE+ system, so I can swap batteries from my other tools. Great performance at a great price—definitely a must-have for any toolbox!

Made my set
I have slowly been buying new ryobi tools. They provide good value and get the job done. I am not a professional and I use them for home use. They have all functioned well and I feel they are a good value compared to many of the other higher priced tools that many professionals use.

Powerful tool . Don’t forget the nut drivers.
Easy to handle and remarkably powerful. Handled my job removing deeply imbedded rusted lag bolts with ease.

This thing's got power.
First off I'm a homeowner DIYer who uses his tools relatively often but not regularly like a professional. I was debating whether to get brushless in this tool since I heard that that was where I needed the power over the "dated" brushed version. But I experienced no negatives so far, and I used it for some touch boards, both old and new and long screws. It worked like a charm. Here are two things I did with it so far: 1) first, I removed 100+ 3 1/2 inch deck screws from old deck boards (they were in tight; only a small handful were in damaged wood). It zipped them right out once I quickly got the hang of it. I've never used an impact driver; only regular drills. This job was too tough for the Ryobi One drill but the impact driver ripped right through zip zip. Fast! Second, I built a pair of simple 2 X 4 saw horses using new 3-inch deck screws. I drilled small diameter pilot holes in the wood first to prevent splitting (but I didn't absolutely have to) and I couldn't believe how fast the screws went in. Even without a pilot hole (I tried it) they zipped right in. Keep pressure against the screw to drive it all the way since it moves fast. Plus, the impact driver will "catch" like it is supposed to do so it can properly "impact" drive it all the way home.I was surprised at how much more torque this thing had compared to my standard drill. After all, it has nearly 5X the torque compared to the Ryobi One regular drill. And this impact drill is not even the brushless version.I'm glad I got this tool- I can see that it will save a lot of time. And sometimes you just need that much more torque. Recommended.

This impact driver is awesome
Best money I've ever spent. I've already used the tool a few times and has proven to be invaluable.

Nice tool
Works great, I use to be a DEWALT guy, but since they got bought out they make junk. Milwaukee or Makita are the best, but you pay big for them. Theses Ryobi tools work great. Aftermarket batteries are solid and last longer than most this impact has been a huge help
